“Great local chippy, serving an extra portion of care! Stopped here on Friday evening, as we had visitors from abroad who wanted the fish and chip experience and we needed a gluten free option. Deb’s fish bar did not disappoint! Gluten free cod and haddock tasted almost exactly the same as the regular gluten ones. When ordering and needing a little extra advice and help service went above and beyond, even though it was during the Friday evening rush. Also saved us money as we would have massively over ordered. Portions were enormous. Personally, I preferred the cod over the haddock as the haddock still had the skin on, but that is 100% personal preference.”

“We hired Poojas to cater for a surprise party. They were easy to contact and straightforward to organise with. Friendly too and nothing was a problem. We needed nut free which was not a problem. They delivered food on time and it was still hot. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Everyone enjoyed. Would highly recommend. Thank you.”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“Situated adjacent to Corkers on the Wellingborough Road, this Indian restaurant is set out across one large pleasantly decorated room. Excellent service was apparent the moment we walked in with wait staff demonstrating the sort of attentiveness I haven't seen in a while. Shout out to Suresh, who was dressed in traditional Royal Rajasthan clothing. He was friendly, courteous and really looked after us. We decided on the set menu, where you get a sample of the most popular dishes, including starters and dessert, this was really enjoyable and tasty, with the meat being very tender and the plates beautifully presented. Price wise, it's certainly more expensive than most other Indian restaurants in the area; set menu for two plus a bottle of decent wine, and a JD and coke to open proceedings was just over £100. Will definitely return with friends.”

“Awesome pub with friendly staff. The land-lady laid on a buffet for my wife's birthday party which we held in the lounge area. We had the whole lounge to ourselves and the hire was free (takings at the bar). Highly recommend. They have great bands on there as well. Food is fab too.”

“I ordered a well done steak and even though I prefer mine a little more well done it was really tasty. The meal was a great size and every part of it was lovely. “Very, very good Chinese restaurant! Clean. We were invited here to a birthday party and I wasn't sure because I'm picky. Well, the food was simply superb! The ribs were huge and perfectly seasoned and cooked so the meat fell from the bone. The chicken fried rice could not have been cooked any better. I have tasted better curry sauce, but the rest of it was so good, I can't drop a star. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere was amiable. My sister had Thai and that was perfect too.Went back with a friend a couple of years later and still clean. Served by Martin, who made our meal even better!”

“Another beautiful meal! The Special Starter is almost a main in itself and with the 'free' poppadoms and chutneys fill a big hole. I feel confident with the authenticity and flavours of Okra to try other dishes and was not disappointed with the Murgh Mossalam. The textures and flavours were certainly enjoyable and not like other establishments where whatever you order is s variation on a base theme! I had requested no 'free' Onion Bhajis as it is just too much onion for me, so they included Bombay Potato which was delicious. Consistently good food, portion control and delivery. I recommend 100%”

“As far as western Indian cuisine goes Miah's is super good. The flavour profile in many of the dishes are just fantastic..The kitchen is busy on weekend so delivery time can be sometimes long but always worth the wait.”

“What a little gem. We weren't quite sure how to take this place from the outside when we arrived but it appeared recently refurbished and the Sunday Roast was truly wonderful. We had a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the meal. It was a very pleasing find. A point for improvement would be to get baby changing facilities. But it is a challenge in an old style of pub. We would revisit for sure. Thank you.”
