“Our go to food establishment for celebrations. Enjoyed a 70th birthday Sunday lunch with a group of visually impaired and disabled friends. The manager was superb and got us seated quickly even though the pub was expecting a hoard of netballers! The food, as always, was superb and served very promptly. We were extremely grateful that the mix up with our discount voucher was speedily rectified. We LOVE the Briars.”

“Found on the main high street. This is open every day except for Tuesdays. They accept cash and card, although the card machine signal can be hit and miss. I've found them to be friendly, and efficient. Service was really fast. The food was delicious, and they even put the sauce in a separate container. I can't fault this takeaway, and I repeatedly use it.”

“Ordered and went in on a Friday night, ordered to pick up it said 10 mins but ended being another 15 mins on top, understandable as it was really busy but everyone was getting bits done, when our food was ready we got it home and everything was fresh and they gave us a bottle of drink for free for waiting was refreshing as it showed great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone”

“This is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant. There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in. The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow. The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep. The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side. Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have. My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area again”

“I hadn’t been to Pizza Hut for a while due to a poor experience in the past, but I decided to give it another try at a different branch. This location really delivered. The customer service was excellent from the moment we walked in, and the manager was lovely. I visited with my two boys as a little treat before they head back to school. We all opted for the buffet. The kids went for the full package, which included unlimited soft drinks, pizza, salad, and ice cream. I had the adult buffet meal. Altogether it came to £31, which I thought was good value, especially as fresh pizzas were brought out every few minutes thanks to it being busy. The restaurant was clean, the staff were attentive and helpful, and the salad bar was well stocked with fresh ingredients. The only downside is that you have to pay at the start via QR code. It even prompts you to leave a tip there and then — but why would I tip before I’ve actually experienced the service or food? Unfortunately, that means you can’t tip the team afterwards, which is a shame as they work very hard.”

“We had a wonderful lunch at the Spinney Hill. Our table had been pre-booked for 8 guests and on arrival we were welcomed at the bar then shown to our reserved tables. Everywhere was clean. The menu chosen was the senior menu which offered a great choice and excellent value for money. Food service was speedy, attentative and all of the guests enjoyed their meal. Thank you to all the staff. We will definately book again.”

“Had a lovely portion of chips and curry sauce, absolutely the best Chinese curry sauce in town. The service received was an absolute delight, the lady who served us was so sweet and friendly and even if the food hadn't been as good as it was that treatment is definitely worth returning for!! Can't wait for the remodeling to be done so we can come back for a full sit in meal.”

“Last night I ordered some egg fried rice, crispy shredded chicken salt and chilli with also a chicken chow mein. I was told by a friend to order from Ocean. First time ordering here is my quick honest review. The food was immaculately curated with such care eating the food immediately made me want to order from the takeaway again. I completely recommend this takeaway for those who want to try a new and unique Chinese takeaway.”

“Very welcoming friendly staff, very accommodating. Lovely clean and tidy room which was spacious and had everything you needed, including mini fridge, hairdryer, tv, complimentary tea, coffee etc, also complimentary shower gel/shampoo. On request an iron and table top board are available at no extra charge, was also able to borrow a dish and spoon. Breakfast was not available but there is a sainsbury less than five minutes down the road so easy enough to pick up cereal and milk. There was some scaffolding up on my visit but that was due to solar panels being fitted, also noticed an electric charging point being put in the car park. I stayed for a few days while having renovations done on home. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”
