I originally was going to buy from John Lewis until they told me I had to disconnect my old washer & pull it out myself or they would not remove it !!!!!. Great & helpful customer service from the shop & two lovely, pleasant helpful delivery guys disconnected & installed my new one. After difficulties in finding the Miele induction hob I was considering, anywhere in stock, I rang their technical helpline to ask a few questions (so many models).These were knowledgeably answered. Hob in stock and at a competitive price, so I then ordered it online late that afternoon (Sat). “Dunelm have just recently revamped their store in Ilkeston and made an absolutely fabulous job. The store is now so light and airy, with lots of household bargains. The best thing is that they have made a cafe in the store and it us absolutely brilliant. The food is good quality and very reasonable, service is quick. “After a poor experience ordering shutters from Dunelm in the past we were a little wary about buying curtains and blinds from them recently, but I have to say that dealing with Katherine at the Nottingham store was an absolute pleasure. She was extremely friendly and helpful as well as being knowledgeable. She helped us choose appropriate blinds and curtains for our windows and arranged for a young man named Jordan to come and measure up. He was also very efficient, polite and helpful. We would be more than happy to use them again and have already recommended them to friends. A quick mention also for Jen and Jade in the coffee shop who were also lovely.”

“Staff in store are helpful and while you can no longer explore their five basements of back stock, ask if you're looking for something specific and they will do all they can to help you find it. Keep checking back as stock changes every few days. Keep in mind if you have it delivered staff are volunteers and it might show up with an extra scratch and unassembled, if that bothers you it's best to arrange your own collection.”
