Make an effort to drive down Mansfield road as this place is a must see. All customers are respectful hence no drunkenness to contend with. “The food is delicious. It's a gastropub which means that the food is not the classic pub food but food of high quality. The cheap version of a fine dining cuisine and service. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and the menu is simple and clear. The starters is something that you should definitely try, it is the best thing on the menu. My favourites are the following: sesame halloumi ( I could have that every single day, the honey drizzle goes so well with the sesame coated halloumi), the crayfish bisque ( a delicious luxury served in a unique way) and last but not least the arancini (delicious,delicious,delicious). The Tailors Arms has its own free parking but there is a bus stop 30 seconds away and a tram stop 2 minutes away. Wilford is a very quiet area however the Taylor's Arms is on the main road, next to the co-operative supermarket.”

“Brilliant selection of ales and I did notice a wide range of gins too. Food is also really good and all locally sourced; nice touch. It's really nice to see how they've turned the place into having a proper local feel to it. Can't fault it at all. They even serve dog beer for our four legged friends. They also accept CAMRA cards too so the discounts offered are little but appreciated.”

“Pizzas fron here is amazing. Last night I bit the bullet and ordered a lamb Dansak. Anyone that knows me knows I love Dansak but it has to be spicey and I've only come across 2 places that does it how I like it. Agra in Ilkeston (which has closed) and a place in Wales lol. So I've never tried anywhere else for 2 years. Well Tandoori surprised me, their lamb Dansak is the absolute best!!! Will be returning!! Staff are amazing too!!! Love it here”

The new menu is great. We had the gnocchi, chicken tikka kebabs, fish and chips and chicken burger. All tasted great and the service was great - the team are very helpful, especially with me faffing about deciding!”
