“I've had the pleasure of enrolling both my children, now aged 18 months and 4 years, at Puddle Ducks Nottingham, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we started, it was clear that Puddle Ducks prioritizes both fun and safety in their lessons. Over the past four years we've had several instructors – Pam, Alex, and Nicola – who are truly fantastic. Their patience, enthusiasm, and expertise creates a positive and encouraging learning environment. They are clearly passionate about what they do, and this shines through in their teaching. Both my children have made significant progress in their water confidence and I think regular swimming has helped a lot with their strength and physical development. The structured lessons and engaging activities have helped them develop essential swimming skills. I've been particularly impressed with how the lessons have translated into real-life safety skills. My younger child, especially, has benefited immensely, instinctively using the "turning onto her tummy" technique when climbing down from heights during everyday activities (like getting down from chairs, and at soft play). This alone has given me immense peace of mind. Puddle Ducks Nottingham has proven to be a very worthwhile investment in my children's safety and development. The combination of excellent instructors, a well-structured program, and a focus on water safety makes it a top choice for swimming lessons. “I undertook the Professional Soft Furnishings Diploma. I had dabbled with sewing over the years but only ever cobbling things together. I had a yearning to make things properly and a curiosity of how things could be made precisely and perfectly. The course has fulfilled this yearning and my curiosity. It is so well organised and although I did the course completely online, it was very clear to follow and the support from my tutor, Sarah, was second to none. I cannot fault the course in any way. It has enabled me to begin working for myself along side my part time job. I recently undertook my first commission for a large pair of lined curtains with 100% success. I do have to stop, think and take my time more than someone with more experience but the course has equipped me with a valuable resource of notes and the samples we made are indispensable. If I am unsure about anything, I simply refer back to these. I also feel that I have developed my skills enough to enable me to tackle other soft furnishings that were not featured in the course such as lampshades and box seat cushions. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the modules and would not hesitate in recommending this course to anyone looking to improve their skills, learn something new or set themselves up for a new career. “Well I don't know where to start because there's too much to say about jamia after studying there for 7 years, but most importantly I'd like to say that it was one of the best experience I've experienced in my life and I learnt a lot from there. The Islamic studies there is incomparable and the teachers are always willing to help and they will try their level best to do everything they can to keep the students happy. Also the sister hood and the bond between the teachers and student you feel in jamia you will not find it else where. I would definitely recommend Jamia al hudaa to whoever wants to study Islamic studies in depth this is the perfect place for you.”

“I have attended this college since 2022 and still a student here progressing into my second year, my main concern with the college is that it seems very reserved making friends seems to be really difficult since im not a local to the college many people just seem to go home and i end up being stuck around until 4:20, not to mention being from derby also makes it mor difficult from my experience. The teachers are really good and learning support is brilliant overall its a good college but believe that more support could be offered for those who find it difficult to make friends.”

“My daughter loves going here and even when she first started and was a little anxious the staff were very helpful at taking her from me and let me know 5 minutes later that she had calmed down and was playing happily, they do lots of activities like going to walks, cooking ect and also have lots of toys to play with. I would recommend this nursery to people in the community that want their children to make friends with children they will eventually go to school with. The children get a drink and a snack whilst there and you can download an app and the staff will let you know if they ate and drank it all or not and will also keep you informed of any upcoming activities”

“I cannot speak more highly of this nursery. My daughter's previous nursery unfortunately couldn't cater to her SEN needs due to staff/children ratio and she wouldn't last more than 30 mins before i received a call to pick her up, because she has had a meltdown. This hasn't happened once since going to this nursery. My daughter has also developed so much and looks forward to going to nursery”

Her and the staff’s patience and inclusive attitude towards my son, helped us during a very difficult time and subsequent diagnosis of autism. With that we were so grateful.
