“Genuinely an amazing leisure centre, hassle free swimming lessons for kids, i cant believe how my daughter had her first swimming class and didnt know how to swim at 5 years old, we tried as parents to teach her how to swim and she was always so nervous and afraid, in her first swimming session with HENRY she swam on her back! I couldn’t believe how he managed to get a very anxious little girl from swimming to get all that confident to swim unaided on the same session, she had another session the following week and swam again on her back unaided. He’s attentive and gives every child their focused time. My daughter was struggling with her goggles he even picked up on that and took them off and gave them a wipe and carried on. After her first session he came over to have a chat and gave lara the biggest words of encouragement for learning how to swim so quick. She came back home and would not stop talking about her achievements and couldn’t wait to come back. I would honestly recommend this swimming center for any parents, no frills, you’re in and out quickly, they learn so much in a short space of time, i hope this gets passed on to henry, he deserves some sort of recognition for being an incredible teacher, i’ve seen swim coaches in the past whilst i’ve been swimming myself and yet to see someone with that level of attentiveness, assertiveness that children need to focus on their swimming and encouragement they need to thrive in. Thank you for teaching my daughter how to swim on her back in the shortest time and getting her our of her shell!”

Its not just about exercising and keeping fit in the amazing gym for someone who lives alone and is of mature years its about support friendship and caring for each other. They have an amazing team of staff who have had my back all through the difficult times and have been there for me, if only for a chat and a hug, believe me it makes the world of difference. It is so good for your mental health too. It is a pleasure to be a member here . The staff work hard and have kept us safe all through the pandemic and everywhere is kept clean. “Been coming to this particular facility for the last 3 - 4 years to use the gym, the choice of equipment is good; from machines to free weights, also some more functional training equipment in the DOSE studio. The equipment in the cardio studio upstairs is a little bit dated, however it's usually pretty easy to get on to whatever you need. People are generally friendly and helpful, and there are a good few regulars that use the gym at the times I'm there (mornings), so it kind of makes it a social experience. It can get a little busy at certain times, for example when the physios are there on Fridays.”

“Paul is quite friendly, fun-loving tutor and enjoys teaching music. My daughter Pia is learning Piano with him since now last 5 years and working towards grade 4 starting from scratch.. so I am very happy with her progress. Paul is making sure she enjoys playing piano rather than just rushing for grades. Thanks to him, Pia really enjoys rehearsing Piano at home and keep her interest going.. I would definitely recommend Paul to anyone who wants his son/daughter to learn Piano/guitar as I have been many his concerts where kids learning both instruments performing on stage including my daughter..”

“Having had a very bad experience at another nursery, as you can imagine, my child was reluctant to leave my side. My child also has mild separation anxiety. Being a lockdown child, she doesn't like to be left with strangers. She was only 3 when we found this nursery, and being anxious myself, knowing I had to leave my child again in the hands of strangers, I needed to find the perfect setting for my daughter. We looked at so many nurseries, but none were to my satisfaction. I honestly nearly gave up on the idea and was thinking about extending my work relief until she was in full-time education. Radcliffe Road Day Nursery was a breath of fresh air. I could instantly see how happy and cheerful the children were. The nursery was clean and smelled fresh. The staff were happy, helpful, and friendly. I analyzed body language and paid close attention to every detail. The way the staff engaged with my daughter and the other children in the setting impressed me right from the start. The outdoor area was fabulous - sand pit, water play, mud pit. They changed the children into puddle suits andwellie boots before going out to play. They got out of dirty clothes and washed hands upon their return. Genuinely, the children and staff all seemed to be having such great fun together. Professional, organized, clean, happy - I couldn't ask for a better nursery. It was slightly more expensive than the other places I visited, but honestly worth every penny. I would 100% recommend these ladies and gentlemen. I was very happy with every aspect. My daughter loves to go to the nursery, she loves her key workers, and has definitely excelled in her short time. Thank you to all the staff and keep doing what you are doing. Fabulous, truly fabulous. Thank you - 5-star!! I'd give 10 stars if I could.”

“My children have been part of Poplars Nursery School since 2012 and they have benefitted enormously from the ethos of the nursery, the smaller, home-like setting, and the care and attention of the staff. The staff know the children very well, and appreciate their personalities and where they are at in their development. They track their development in conjunction with parents with books which include plenty of photos so you can see what they have been up to. They do lots of fun activities, which are well thought through and promote their self-confidence and independence, In fact, a lot of thought goes in to their processes and activities and it's clear that the children enjoy being in this environment. My children have particularly enjoyed the visits from White Post farm, the annual nursery outings, the occasional outings to local sites and annual productions where they get to perform to all the parents and show them what they have been doing throughout the year. We have been delighted by the care and nuture this nursery has given all our children - thank you Poplars!”

“Our son started at Wollaton House Day Nursery when he was just 10 months old, and now at two years old, he has absolutely thrived in their care. The dedication and warmth of the staff are truly unmatched, making it the best decision we could have made for him. One of the things we love most is the independent nature of the nursery and their efficient drop-off-at-the-door policy, which gives us peace of mind knowing he is safe and well cared for. The varied food menu is fantastic, and he enjoys every meal. It’s such a comfort to know he is eating well while at nursery.
