“I was recommended this place by a friend. I had a prom dress from 2020 that I was unable to wear due to COVID. I’d struggled for the past 4 years to get the prom dress sold, posted on multiple social media pages but no interest. Luckily, when I enquired with Sarah & Lisa, they were able to take care of my preloved dress & sell it to someone who would make good use of it. After a few months, I was delighted to know that my prom dress had been sold! Really good experience & I’m so happy I found a place that is able to sell preloved prom dresses.”

“Love having a wander around Poundland, I have found that the clothing range is good quality and a very reasonable price. Plain white short sleeved t-shirt for £3.00, they wash up well, who can ask for more. Also refilled my knitting yarn, so am going to be busy.”

“Fantastic service on December 29th. It was extremely busy, and a young man (Jordan) was working so hard. His customer service was fantastic, even though he was getting grief from customers. He seemed to be the only person around (I think it may have been break or lunchtime). He was always polite and kept his cool. I had to mention to the manager how excellent his customer service was. If they had more like him, that shop would run smoothly. Keep up your good work, Jordan. (I don't know him; I asked his name to let the manager know how well he was doing.)”

“Wanted to go out of my way to leave a good review for Moss Bros Nottingham and particularly Joel. I have a wedding today and realised last night that the suit I was going to wear was stained. I got into the moss bros store at about 9:30am was greeted by Joel almost immediately. After telling him my budget I was shown to the suits in my price range that were also suitable for a wedding. Without measuring me, through clear experience he was able to tell me what size I would be, as well as what fit would be best for my frame. Tried on the suit, purchased the suit, was in and out in 15 minutes. Both speedy and good service, turned what was looking like a very stressful morning into one that was slightly easier. Thank you for making my day a bit easier Joel and Moss bros Nottingham.”

“We bought a pair of Crocs online and they were the wrong size. We were visiting grandchildren in Nottingham so took them for exchange at JD Sports at Netherfield, Nottingham. A member of staff was working near the entrance. We were greeted with a smile and he asked if he could help. We explained and he said he had them in stock on the shop floor. He gave us the choice of several sizes and took us to the counter and explained a return and supply of replacement. The lady was quickly on to it in friendly fashion and we both said we should have come here in the first place. We went online for mobility issues. We were treated very well by both people. They are a credit to JD Sports.”

“I just wanted to share my thoughts....despite some concerning reviews, I kept open minded as everyone is entitled to an honest opinion on their experiences. I ordered over £500 stock via a video call. The call was swift, smooth and well organised. They have fantastic stock to suit most sellers. I'm a shop owner and my stock sells incredible well via online and in store. Yes delivery was a little longer than I really wanted as I had to wait for 7 to 10 days but I knew this from the get go. Vault make all the small print obvious as I see it all the time social media etc. I also purchase from their website as again there is clear and accurate descriptions on products. Running a business will always bring a risk but if you don't try you don't get. I like them and their stock!!”

“I was looking for pair of trainers, I have feet size 12, and it is always a problem to find shoes. But in this JD store the staff was super helpful they immediately offered to help me find the right pair and size. for me they checked all the pairs that I was interested in, (and it was about 25 pairs of trainers!) two assistants helped me at the same time, it was very nice and professional of them. I picked the perfect pair. and at the checkout another staff member helped me get an application for accumulating cashback for my purchase. I highly recommend this store! Special thanks to the guys who work there and helped me so much: Zaiga, Taylor and Pauline. They are the best! Im definitely coming back!”

“We had to go to the store having realised that we had been charged incorrectly for and item we bought at Meadowhall. Staff were excellent in sorting this and checking with the other store how the error had occurred. The manager then honoured the price that we should have paid even though it had been labelled incorrectly in Meadowhall. Really lovely girl serving us, I think her name was Hannah, and the manager was excellent (but I didn’t get his name). Great service all round.”
