“We had a very good time here, the smoked haddock chowder was lovely and the prawn spring rolls were delicious. We also had as a main course the crispy pork with red sauce with jasmine rice and the Tai style Roast duck with egg fried rice were also good and decent portions for us. The only downside was that the above and a bottle of wine cost a total of £80.00 which I find is more of a special occasion restaurant rather than a monthly treat. Although this was a very nice meal.”

“Whilst a long wait due to the uni £7 large pizza deal the staff at beeston were lovely and visibly trying their best to ensure everyone got their order in the most efficient time. Whilst they seemed to be quite run of their feet they remained friendly and quite entertaining whilst we waited.”

“Fabulous little venue with tasty food and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to cafe roya, it was my sister’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special. Really appreciate small venues like this that have staff who make you feel welcome and comfortable in their restaurant. All dishes were super fresh and tasty making me want to come back for more and work my way through the menu. Along with their brilliant staff and food they make stunning cocktails which again , you can’t stop at just the one! Can’t wait to visit again, very tempted by the sound of the lunch menus!”

“The first time we came they only supplied coffee and cake, but now they offer lunches. Yay. The first thing that strikes me, it’s a lovely atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff and customers. It’s great to see they welcome laptop working and have a fair guide available to see. Encouragement for extended laptop working is upstairs with a nominal fee. Parking is available in the Broxtowe’s car park is opposite or if you can keep you visit time down to 30mins there is free street parking round the corner (we managed 35 mins and didn’t get a ticket). It is on the tram route with a stop just 2 mins up the road. The tomato soup with sourdough was lovely. The facilities are spacious and clean.”

“I had a pizza diavola and the missus had a vegetariana with no mozzarella, both were delicious! Proper good wood-fired Neapolitan pizza right here in Beeston! I can't speak for the starters or sides, but get some pizza here and you'll be very happy.”

“The food at Bee Thai is always incredibly fresh and full of bold, authentic flavors. Every dish tastes like it was made to order with care. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients — nothing ever feels reheated or rushed. If you love real Thai food, this place is a must.”

“I had booked a table for dinner as all my friends rave about the food. They weren't wrong!!! We ordered the set menu as well as an additional three dishes and everything was super delicious and freshly prepared. The Asian slaw is absolutely incredible, best I've ever had! As usual we had ordered too much food but I took the leftovers home to have for lunch. The staff were welcoming and seated us straight away and we're attentive taking our orders etc. It's not the most romantic place to go and eat but overall the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was really busy. I cannot wait to go back!”

“Spare ribs. The hallmark of a top tier Chinese takeaway is the quality of the spare ribs and these guys seem to roast them fresh each night. They are truly bloody exquisitely tender and juicy. They have been consistently perfect for the past 3 years that we've been ordering from them. Vast majority of Chinese takeaways batch cook then and reheat them and the result is dry and tough. Everything is delicious here and portions/price is fantastic value. Bless these guys.”

“Wonderful little gem of a cafe that we discovered by chance, friendly atmosphere and the lady who served us could not do enough for us. Lovely range of smoothies, milkshakes and frappes, including what was maybe the best vanilla frappe we’ve ever had! Also has a small range of menu options with the normal light lunch classics such as sandwiches, roasties, jacket potatoes etc, well priced, delicious with well-sized portions. Thank you Metro, we will be back again (and again!) :)”

“We ordered a take away of sweet and sour chicken, curry chicken, and spring rolls. The food was an amazing, the portions were particularly good we shared the meal between 2 people and have leftovers :) The people was very nice and the service was very fast. I would definitely go back and make it one of my go to places”

“It was easy to place an order over the phone and delivery was on time delivered by a friendly driver. Must try the chicken in black bean sauce with egg fried rice, it was epic...restaurant standard. We ask for it to be spicy. Compliments to the chef. Also, the owner was extremely helpful going through dishes for gluten allergy. Therefore, top marks.”

“Went in there in the cold monday evening, where eveything in Beeston was closed but this restaurant was our saviour. Was warmly welcomed once we arrived and came in. We chose the crispy fried duck pancake and spring rolls. For the main we had kung paw chicke and sweet and sour chicken which tasted all of them amazing. Good place to have chinese foods”
