“Went on a Friday evening, very busy with Internet orders. Four staff on, I was served immediately, they cooked my burger from fresh and I waited about 8 - 10 minutes. No problems, nice staff.”

“First time here (Thurs 10/4/25), but it certainly won't be the last !! What a great little independently run italian restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It smells amazing just walking in. Mario looked after us mostly, with the help of a young lady later on. Food is top notch, we had steaks for main course, 1 sirloin & 1 fillet. Cooked perfectly & with a great sauce too. Starters were gorgeous & good sized portions (garlic mushrooms & paté), and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert is just amazing....the tiramisu is also very good. Just writing this review makes me want to go back again - right now !! Thanks Luigi's, we'll be back !!”

“Visited for the Sunday buffet which was out of this world. Very tasty, hot and fresh. Chicken 65 so tasty! Best chutneys I have had with popadoms. Lamb Rogan Josh, chefs chicken curry and chicken tikka masala all delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. A fabulous restaurant and highly recommend.”

“What a lovely evening with my family the service and the food was absolutely fantastic. Plus plus a great selection of drinks if you are not driving. I fully recommend don't eat all day if you are going as the selection of dishes is unbelievable, savory and sweet. the age range we took was 8yrs to 60yrs and they loved it. “We are struggling to put into words how perfect Cockliffe is as a wedding venue. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the location - everything about Cockliffe is second to none. A massive shout out to Emilie who was our wedding coordinator, nothing ever seemed too much trouble, her personal support was greatly appreciated and we were sad to see her leave at the end of her shift on our big day! From our initial booking, to the online portal, the tasting evening to our big day - everything was faultless and easy to navigate. All the staff are so lovely and always smiling, the help with our decorations and the way they set them out was brilliant. The exclusivity of the venue was executed seamlessly, they have the operation down to a fine art, you truly wouldn't know that there are weddings the day before or after your own. A big factor for us was having a dog friendly venue and Cockliffe definitely is, they are so welcoming and even have a dog friendly room so our boy could be there for the whole day. We booked the rooms out for our guests to stay and they all commented on how spotless and wonderful they were. Our day was honestly perfect and we have to give a lot of the credit to Cockliffe and all the staff, we would recommend the venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Goodwin”

“Decided to try a takeaway after a friend recommended here. Absolutely amazing. Delivery was prompt and food was hot and fresh. Beef curry was absolutely amazing, and prawn crackers are made from scratch and not prebought like other Chinese takeaways I have tried. After 10 years I have finally found a Chinese takeaway that beat the old one i used to order from. The staff are very polite, especially Jess. I will definitely be returning in the future!”
