“Good little local shop when you need a couple of items you may have run out of or missed in your main shop. Great selection of wines. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful despite all the good COVID-19 reasons to be very stressed and the store has good two metre floor markings which are usually obeyed by the other shoppers. Speaking of pandemic management they originally had good control of numbers entering when it all began with a 1 in 1 out system which has subsequently been relaxed which means it's best to avoid busy times now as it can get crowded.”

“Went for a big shop, store was clean and tidy, and generally well stocked for Saturday dinnertime. Staff were polite and helpful. Had lunch in the restuarant, the Fish and Chips is really good, and considering the price of everything nowadays, good value for money. Will shop and eat there again.”

“I visited this cafe with my mum this afternoon and despite the fact that my mum insisted that we sat at this specific table with dirty plates left on it even though there was plenty of clean tables, they were soon taken away by one of the waitresses a few minutes after we sat down and the woman that served us at the counter seemed to speak to us in what felt like a slightly sarcastic manner and looked me up and down which made me feel quite uncomfortable, the service was still brilliant. We were served quickly, the food arrived swiftly despite the cafe being reasonably busy and was fresh, hot and tasted absolutely delicious (I had a chip cob and mum had a jacket potato), the portions were well sized and were superb quality for the cheap price, we were offered condiments and asked after we'd finished if everything was okay for us. The atmosphere despite the counter incident was relaxing, warm and welcoming, there were plenty of tables that were reasonably spaced out, it seemed to be very clean, fresh and well kept and there was a wide variety of delicious cakes, food and drinks avaliable, I'm a fussy eater and can never find something I'd like to eat with ease but there was tons of great choices so I didn't struggle choosing whatsoever. Overall, it was a positive experience and we'll definitely be returning as the food and drink went down a treat and we both really enjoyed our time here, the quality of the food for the price is exceptional and is by far one of the best supermarket cafes there is.”

“An out of season item was hard to find due to the move around the the store. We were directed downstairs incorrectly. We asked Wendy and Jo asked around for us and took us upstairs and to the item. We were made to feel valued and given respect. A very pleasant visit to the store. Thank you Wendy and Jo.”

“Took friend in to move his mobile phone contract from O2 to Tesco Mobile. Josh was very helpful and patient. A perfect ambassador for the Tesco brand. He went above and beyond for customer service. Also the £33 per month O2 contract was replaced with an £8.50 Tesco contract with the same content (free calls/SMS and 12Gb/month data) but MUCH better tech support. Thanks, Josh!”

“Tody we called in for a few things and petrol. We enjoyed a bacon bap and a cuppa in the cafe. The lady serving was very pleasant and almost brought our order before we sat down. Always service with a smile. All staff we came in contact with were kind and helpful. Good offers and some lovely fresh produce. We enjoyed our visit, thank you”

“I don’t think I’ve ever done a review on a supermarket before but the person who served us at till 23 this afternoon, I believe her name was Maria, was outstanding and worthy of mention. Not only was she friendly (as many of the staff here are) but she took the time to give us some good advice. In fact as a result of that advice, after loading up the car with shopping, we went back into store and made some purchases that we wouldn’t have otherwise made.”
