“7.0/10 I've always been curious about ordering from here, but the location and mixed reviews held me back. Finally decided to give it a shot. For just £20 after discounts, getting two pizzas is a fantastic deal. And honestly? Damnn this is a good pizza. I'd genuinely recommend it, especially for a quick takeaway. It's the one I'd tell a mate to grab. Now, onto the pizza itself: • The tomato sauce is excellent. Loads of flavour. I'd personally like a bit more of it. • The cheese is solid. Low moisture so no greasy puddles, even with the pepperoni. Rudy's could learn something here. • The dough is light and airy. What really stood out was the salt. You can tell a good pizza by how well the dough's seasoned, and this one nails it. Only downside for me was the flop. I prefer a crispier base with more char to hold it up.”

“Absolutely fantastic. The food was AMAZING, service was great. The place is lovely inside and out, we were there for dinner tonight (30th December), only thing wrong with the evening was that the table behind us seemed to have a couple seated who were “influencers” (idiots) who seems to be streaming whilst complaining constantly about everything and each other……. I can only hope they catch me in the background scowling at their effort to ruin our and everyone else’s enjoyment of this excellent restaurant.”

“Had heard good things about Chai Yo Thai so when craving a Pad Thai recently we decided to give it a go. What a brilliant decision. We each had the Saturday lunch deal and went for a honey and lemon tea each to go with it. The tea was delicious and sweet and the food was equally as good. My satay skewer starters were tender and beautifully charred and the sauce was fantastic. The Pad Thai main was equally as good. Portion sizes were very good too and the service was excellent. Now we've tried Chai Yo Thai we'll definitely be back again rather than going to the larger chain restaurants - the food and value is so much better.”

“Don’t review that often, but this place was unexpectedly great. The pizza and the focaccia is probably be the best I’ve had in Nottingham and I’ve eaten at lots various pizzerias around the city. “Nottingham's got some amazing pizza places and this is certainly up there with the best of them! We popped in on a Friday afternoon, got a table outside in the sunshine and ordered what turned out to be a huuuge Detroit style pizza and 2 pints of Deya Steady Rolling Man. Service was very personable and very fast and before we knew it, we were drinking our beer and tucking into our pie. First bite was heaven. The sauce was packed with flavour and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. The crust had crispy melted cheese all round it which was gorgeous. We couldn't finish it in the end so the waiter offered to box it up for us. The beer was well kept and there was a big selection. Always a fan of Deya though. 10% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I'm generally not a fan of this growing trend. I do generally tip 10% anyway but I like that to be my choice. Overall, I'll definitely be going back to Slice 'n' Brew (my kids wouldn't forgive me if I didn't take them at some point). Amazing pizza and craft beer in a great location. Keep it up!!”

“First time here (Thurs 10/4/25), but it certainly won't be the last !! What a great little independently run italian restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It smells amazing just walking in. Mario looked after us mostly, with the help of a young lady later on. Food is top notch, we had steaks for main course, 1 sirloin & 1 fillet. Cooked perfectly & with a great sauce too. Starters were gorgeous & good sized portions (garlic mushrooms & paté), and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert is just amazing....the tiramisu is also very good. Just writing this review makes me want to go back again - right now !! Thanks Luigi's, we'll be back !!”

“I’ve ordered a couple of times from Milano Pizza. The pizzas are delicious (ordered Milano Special and meatfeast) ingredients were fresh and had lots of cheese! Chicken shish kebab was on point and volcano burger so juicy. Definitely recommend and totally worth the price.”

“Nice service and great food! Definitely try the sushi and sashimi dinner set (28 pounds including 12 pieces of sashimi, 6 pieces of sushi and 6 pieces of nigiri ( roughly) and dessert!!! Hot sake is also nice to try!”

“The food was incredible, cooked to perfection. Dishes were a good size and the food was divine. The drink was also great. Enjoyed the experience. Staff service was slow however it was busy. It’s took time to get our drinks ordered and the food between plates was a bit slow. Positive part of the service the staff was really friendly and made the experience great ! “A lovely high tea at Copper Cogs with some friends. Great service and lovely atmosphere. I noted on my booking that I was dairy free and didn’t expect much as most places still don’t cater well for it but I was delivered the most gorgeous selection of sandwiches and cakes, I was so impressed. We have eaten breakfast here too and always love it.”
