I have been working on a revamp in my house and it’s tricky buying items unseen online but Wendy and Sabrina have gone out of their way to be extremely helpful whilst I have been trying to choose both small and large items. I have been delighted with all my purchases and am looking forward to the shop opening when I can pop in and browse but my main objective will be to say thank you to you both for all your valued help in these trying times. “My partner needed a removal service and she suggested we use Shambles, as they were rated highly. On the day of the move, they turned up with a large removal van with three people, who were very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help make the move as quick and easy as possible. They also took apart cabinets, beds and units and reassembled them where needed in the new home. They did a huge amount of work and didn't ask anything of us (although we helped, just to speed things up). I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Shambles.”

“Went to Dunedin today, due to past experiences we would normally give the cafe a miss. However today we were tempted by a coffee and sausage and omelette bap. It was brilliant, coffee was well made, the baps tasty. The new manager has made a huge difference to both the quality on offer and the atmosphere in the cafe. So much better than it has ever been. We will definitely use the cafe on our next visit. Also they have a promotion that children eat for free! So it was great value too!”

“Had my bed break on the day I moved in to a new flat (previous tenants fault) leaving me sleeping on a broken bed, new bed was delivered same day and was a very professional service. Had an issue where the delivery was missing one of the boxes required but the issue was resolved quickly and with the required part being delivered to my flat within a few hours of calling up”

“I think this is my favourite store in the U.K. in terms of a brand and offering. I don’t like shopping, so when I do have to I like to go to a destination that is efficient and spaced nicely. This store is laid out well and has so many different categories. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. I think all the range stores should have map layouts or better signs as most range buildings are very big and it can be difficult to find certain things, especially if on two floors. Other than that, great store and people”

There you can also find a cafe that serves a range of food and drinks. There's plenty of parking and its an easy store to reach.”
