“Renting a large house with sea views for our family of three generations and two dogs is an annual, long weekend, event. There are 9 of us. The Shallows is by far the best yet. Grandchildren are two 20 year old girls and two 18 year old boys. The Shallows is a beautiful palatial home, well equipped, spacious beyond our expectations, beautiful spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and luxurious linen. The pool table, heated swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna, were all well used. The hot tub is in a fantastic position next to the sea with unobstructed views. Several lounge areas with their own TV’s enabled groups with different interests to separate. Apart from going out for Sunday lunch to The Ship (well recommended) and walking the dogs along the beach, we stayed in and around the house for the whole weekend.”

“Me and my friends stayed at Colin's house on Heyshott Road and it is absolutely brilliant, it was exactly as described, the bedrooms were very comfortable and felt very homely - the kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and the open plan living/dining area was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Portsmouth, its walkable to the beach and pier, and to the town centre - me and my friends had an amazing time”

So many additional touches to the caravan which we weren't expecting such as a washing machine, board games, WiFi, tv with Netflix etc. She goes above and beyond for her guests. “Booked as had day at Goodwood. Rooms best have stayed in within UK! Clean, spacious, everything you would require, even hair straighteners! Breakfast hamper filled with ample provisions, fresh fruit also available. Ate in Thai restaurant and food was superb along with service. Only downfall on arrival service from bar cold and unwelcome. When booking in had to ask for information on food, restaurant times etc. very uninformative and glad we didn't miss out on some lovely food!”

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Island Holiday Company for all their help in making it a memorable long weekend.
