“This hotel is lovely, sited in the middle of the lovely small town of Henley. We stayed two nights and the staff were fabulous. Special thanks to Daniella and Sahara for looking after us so well. The hotel room was large, with load of hangers in the wardrobe, great bedside tables and a super comfy armchair. The bathroom was clean and large, with lots of surfaces for us to unpack our toiletries to. Henley itself is great. We strolled up the street from the hotel”

“We needed a campsite to stay following our crossing from Europe on route to visit family in wales. We arrived after 5 so the office was closed but the site team called and explained the process for checkin when we arrived. We were allocated a pitch close to the facilities block but due to the low level and the slight incline of the pitch we were unable to use it. We called the pitch and the team quickly answered and moved us. We were so pleased with the service we have booked to return next weekend. Thanks for the excellent service.”

“Great room, had a breakfast bar area, fridge, nice big shower. Very clean too! - no parking really on the street in front unless it's for like 2/3 hours but there is a rugby club 10 mins walk that let you park for £4 per day which is great.”

“Stopped off at the Flower Pot for a pint during a walk around the area. Beautiful old pub, nice outdoor area and friendly staff. Plan on coming back soon to try the food!”

“Excellent cattery, they not only look after your cat but make a fuss of them as well with lots of attention and cuddles. Our cat has stayed a few times now and is totally comfortable with his visits. He saunters straight out of his carrier into the room like it's the most casual thing in the world.”

“Even if you’re not a rower, this is a remarkable find – wonderful location, gorgeous old club, very spacious, comfortable, and bright room. And if you are a rower, the memorabilia is amazing and a drink on the deck watching the crews go by is a blast. It’s like being invited to stay at the Vatican for an evening.”

“We took a party of 47 oldies and volunteers for a day trip to Henley on 11 June - a river boat trip along the Henley regatta course and on to the Baskerville Arms in Shiplake for a wonderful lunch and a relaxing afternoon in their beautiful pub garden before the coach trip back home to Farnham. Graham and Gill were so helpful in advance of our visit - creating a special menu and endeavouring to meet specific needs. And on the day all food was served in good time and efficiently by a team of happy and willing staff with everybody getting what they had advanced ordered. So many positive comments from our oldies - they want to go back next year!! Graham also ensured that the coach could park right outside the pub making life so much easier for everyone. “We went for an open day. Viewing the facilities which include a gym, swimming pool, croquet lawn, restaurants - it’s a fabulous setting in the river. The open day gives you a chance to see what you can have for a yearly membership. You can also book the venue for weddings and/or parties . It’s a beautiful venue”

“Nineteen years ago, we held our wedding reception here, so returned on our anniversary for the night. The Inn has been updated sympathetically, and really enhanced. The room was quirky and well appointed, and the staff couldn't have been any better. Utterly friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. Supper was delicious, the chap making the cocktails was a delight, and breakfast was spot-on. We won't be leaving it nineteen years till the next visit.”

“*Restaurant review* Food was absolutely delicious. My partner and I shared the camembert special for a starter which was very well prepared and came with plenty of bread relish, garlic and butter. We had the salmon and the pie of the day for our mains which were both enormous portions which we really appreciated. Very well cooked and seasoned. Shared the chocolate torte for dessert as we were stuffed after the generous portions which was also great quality. Service was timely and polite despite it being very busy. Strong recommendation.”

“What a place - it understandably attracts a lot of custom and has a real "buzz" about it!! ... stayed one night and had dinner & breakfast. The rooms are "dated" but clean and quite comfortable. The staff are amazing - don't know how Wetherspoons do it. I interacted with five different staff over our stay and they were all polite, helpful and confidently spoken. Extensive menu and food served within 10 minutes of ordering. The service and value for money can not be faulted - I wish Wetherspoons could run the NHS & country! A great location bang in the centre of the charming town of Henley-on-Thames.”
