Park in Newbury

“The big slide is closed due to repairs. Nice but small park without the big slide. There's a duck feeder vending machine in the entrance. You get a handful of pellets to feed ducks. The walk along the river is beautiful, it leads to Locks.”

“Nice place to take in the fresh air or walk the dog, cricket club/loose ends (hot meals daily for those in need, food bank and essential clothing sleeping bags etc for homeless individuals) I believe they may take clothing/food donations”

“This is a great place for a family day out, reasonable ticket price. Clean soft play area suitable for kids between 6-10 years old. Animals barn , tractor trailer, bouncing pillow and the whole park is huge! There is food counter as well, the price is reasonable in terms of a theme park. Last but not least, the staff are so friendly and you can see they keep empty the rubbish bins to keep the place tidy and clean.”

“Took my 12 week old Cocker spaniel Murphy in for his second set of vaccinations. I was a bit anxious as he has never been to a vet with me before but he absolutely loved it there, the ladies on reception made such a fuss of him and he was lapping it up. Hamid the vet was very professional and I’m not sure if Murphy actually realised that he’d been vaccinated his tail never stopped wagging . Future care was discussed with me and I’m pleased to know that Murphy will be in good hands.”

“Really amazing views. Absolutely magical place to go early in the morning. Views in the summer would be amazing. Just been in March early morning after heavy rain and was easy going. Yes lots of area is private but this place should be on anybody's to do list. I wish it was a bit closer to my home as perfect place to go to clear the mind.”

She showed me how to best look after my Fila trainer and even sold me the innersole. I even asked for a spray on my second pair. The point about the above was simply the best customer experience. Deichmann have a very good and knowledgeable employee who served me. Store was clean, bright and well organised unlike it's nearby competitor I think I have been coming to Deichmann Newbury for the last 3 years as a result”

“Gotta love a Dunelm Mill! Lots of choice of homewares from bedding to kitchen ware. From lighting to storage, They've got it all. Also love the seasonal stuff they bring in too. Staff always friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable. Plenty of parking too!”

“Always find a bargain or two here, whether clothing or household. Ironing is my least favourite job and the bedding bought here is a dream, wash dry & back on the bed without creasing. Not tumble dried. Always get complimented on my dresses purchased here too, fit true to size.”
