“My first review 11 months ago Wonderful food, service and presentation The proprietor warm and friendly front of house with a busy and professional open kitchen behind him. I had vegetarian dishes which were as delicious as anything I've ever eaten. I collected, but they realised after that the poppadom’s hadn't been bagged so ran a car to my hotel to drop off. The extra mile done with great professionalism and good will. Back tomorrow night and can’t wait. Just been back and Wow!! My team worked in the area last year, and so impressed were we, I left a Google review. This week we were back and ready for a second bite. Not disappointed and, if anything, the food was even better. The sounds of Mmmm, Ooh, and lip-smacking was all that could be heard as the team and I tucked in to our delicious crispy papadums sauce and chutneys aplenty, mouth-watering starters, and top-drawer mains. The fish masala was just something else, dish of the night for me. And like last year the veggie options were well considered, flavoursome, perfectly cooked, and not trying to be curry without the meat, rendering any meat course irrelevant in my view. The meat eaters were equally pleased and consider this place one of the best anywhere. So, I’m over the moon that this gem is thriving and cooking up some of the Indian subcontinent’s finest cuisine”

“I have known of this restaurant for a while, but do not live near by. Finally I decided to pay a visit. I loved their food and service. The front desk lady is super efficient. The menu is delectable and have many of my favorites. I loved the Thali concept as it provided many of my favorites in small portions, more than enough in quantity for a person's meal. All the dishes tasted great and I ended up having takeaways as well. One of the owners was there and came to greet which is a wonderful gesture. I hope this restaurant flourishes as there are not many authentic Bengali restaurants around. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“I've been a regular at Laz Tadim for over 5 years now. If you're local, you probably already know how good they are, but if you're new, keep reading. Laz Tadim is not your average UK kebab shop. The place is spacious, bright, and always spotless with friendly staff. You can really see how efficient and popular they are, especially during peak hours. On quieter days, you might even get to chat with the owner or others serving you. I’ve genuinely never seen such high quality packaging from any takeaway in my 18 years in the UK. They pay attention to the little things, and it shows. We usually go for the chicken shish, which comes with freshly baked bread and fresh salad. The freshness and quality are always spot on. Portions are very good, and everything tastes clean and well prepared. I haven’t had steaming hot bread with grilled meat like this anywhere else in the UK. We also enjoy their doners and grilled chicken wings now and then. I’ve tried their fish and chips a few times when ordering just for myself, and it's excellent too. And if you're into sauces, definitely try the Turkish Ezme. It’s a homemade sweet and spicy tomato and herb mix that my wife absolutely loves. Pro tip: order directly through their website for collection. It's quick, easy, and they often throw in a little something extra, which is always a nice surprise.”

“This is not a pub we visit often but found ourselves here on the off chance. The ladies behind the bar were really great, they found us a seat, cleaned table and recommended food. Gammon was delicious, best pub food my partner has had in a long time. Fish and chips was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Highly recommend giving this great pub a try. We will return!”

“Such a great place for food - we stumbled upon it by accident in the summer and have been several times. There is a lovely lake to walk round with the dogs and then pop in for a drink or food (dog friendly). We had a Sunday roast and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Would absolutely recommend, good food and good value for money”

“I have tried today variety of Paratha from them and it was so yummy. Made my Saturday morning. Even I have tried their samosas for one of my birthday party last month and it was so delicious. “I went there Friday lunch time with my elderly mother. I treated her to cod & chips we decided to eat in (I was just going to have some of hers) The Chinese lady called 'Pin' was serving ,she is such a lovely warm lady and give us an extra small piece of cod. Me and my mum were very happy in the time we were there, the serving of cod were the best I had there before so tasty, so fresh and cooked perfectly.”
