    “Great local pub. I usually visit on a weekday lunchtime. Lager is always good, staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Varied menu with tasty, well presented food. Another reviewer said they thought the fish and chips was nothing special but I find it to be really good (home made chips/batter) and on par with restaurant quality rather than pub. Make your own minds up. There's a big beer garden and it's right next to the common too for a pint before or after a walk. Happy to recommend.”
