“Was going on a weekend break with the family to Hoyland, drove 100 miles and on arrival noticed my car was making a crackling noise as something was loose. I couldn’t drive the car anywhere. Rang all local garage shops and none took me in. Until S74 said “yeah, just bring it in as slow as you can”. When i got there, they quickly took my car, investigated the issue and removed what was a loose dust shield. When asked how much i owed them they said not to worry about it, it was “nothing”. For me, it was a lot, after driving 100 miles and ready to start your holiday, the last thing you want is car issues. They were so understanding and helpful, really have no words to describe the relief i felt! Thank you so much! Anywhere close to Hoyland, this has ti be your shop!”

As I had an injured ankle, I wasn’t able to collect the car straight away. I paid a holding deposit, and Ben kindly held the vehicle for me without any pressure or pushy sales tactics. He kept in touch, was always helpful, and even liaised with the finance company to ensure everything went through smoothly. When I collected the car, it was spotless and has been running perfectly since. I’ve only had it for a couple of days, but I’m already very pleased. “This is the second time l have used Brakemadters/Powerhouse. The first time was a few years ago, when they refurbed the callipers of my VFR800. They did a great job. This time, it was the front callipers of my '93 VFR750. They were in a state after 32 yrs of use and my ham -fisted maintenance. They were faded, scratched and really shabby. I elected for a full refurbishment & repainted to original Nissin VFR gold. They needed new pistons as well. The pictures attached speak for themselves. They look as good as new. If asked, l will always recommend Powerhouse/Brakemasters. They will certainly be getting more work from me when l get around to sorting my other bikes.”

“My 2nd year using Dore Service Station for my M.O.T, I'm starting to think they are the only honest garage left. They picked the car up, dropped it off, gave it a complimentary clean (which having kids I don't get round to doing often enough myself). And the work that was required to pass the M.O.T was very reasonably priced. I also had some advisory notices and I called up about doing that work now to get it out of the way and they gave me more detail about the notices and advised that it might be a mistake to do the work prematurely. So I'm going to get that work done later in the year when I'll definitely be using Dore again. Can't recommend them highly enough.”
