“What an absolute gem of a pub! Myself and mum stopped on our way to a hen do just up the road. Service wonderful, staff friendly and easy to chat too. Food was amazing and excellent value for money all round! We shall be back this weekend!”

“Great pub, I was here with about 15 other lads on a stag do and we was made to feel very welcome. We drunk upstairs and stayed out of the way. When we came down we was served quickly and dealt with quickly. We found the locals to be very welcoming. Michelle and Ryan did everything they could to make us feel welcome and keep us as happy as we could. We’re from York and had a good craic with the locals about football without any trouble being caused. It was all banter. A great find of a pub that I’m happy I found, with a pool table and a dart board. Not many pubs have this. Keep doing the great job you are Michelle. Thank you for your custom.”

“First time visit,and I was hooked. The Blue Bell is a beautiful English pub. It was mother's day lunch a Sunday roast beef dinner, and it was delicious. I forgot to take a photo because I just wanted to eat it. The staff were lovely and had a table with pretty surroundings. I couldn't fault it at all. Definitely on my list to visit again.”

“I attended my cousins 60th birthday party , the venue is spacious and immaculately clean. Plenty of bar staff .The food is exceptional a hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice and even if you are a fussy eater I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed. The hosts Paul and Jeanine were on hand .There is also a stage to accommodate live music that we all enjoyed.We all had an enjoyable and memorable evening .”

“Me and the wife went for tea yesterday and all I can say is nice very nice the size of meal you get is big the food was red hot has it should be and it was real food not the freezer stuff. The owner lovely and we went when it wasn't to busy so bouns. They are obviously trying to keep their prices down because two large meals two large glasses of wine and one beer £40 I know some of you might think that is expensive but it's not for the quality of food we got and drinks. Thank you we will be going back.”

“We’ve just had a Family for 12 at Sea Fish and everything was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious and really fresh, and the service was amazing super friendly, welcoming and attentive. “Easy to see why this is a Good Beer Guide CAMRA 2023 pub. Proper town centre two room pub with an older cliental opposite the station. Madge went for Acorn Barnsley bitter as the very short lived British August Summer ended in a downburst. Really love the traditional back lounge. Madge took a pint of Acorn Barnsley bittet. Lovely. Nice place to start or finish a Doncaster pub crawl.”

“Can't fault this place at all. Staff were really attentive and food is absolutely delicious! I got introduced to cheese sauce on my roast dinner for first time as a southerner. Let's just say I was very impressed indeed and didn't realise what I've been missing all this time on my roasts! Highly recommended place for pub lunch and lovely Yorkshire Cask Ales!”
