“After going for a meal out we though we would have a few drinks. Whilst walking round trying to find somewhere to drink we heard the live music coming from inside. Needless to say we went in! We were the last ones out!! Fantastic service and the messengers band that were playing that night were absolutely unbelievable can't wait to come back over this will be the first place we go for a drink again”

“My absolute favourite bar in Donny. Biscuit Billy's atmosphere is second to none, yes it gets crowded on the dance floor, its loud but its THE best place to have a cracking night/early morning just having a sing and dance along to the music. Really nice bar staff, bouncers. Its a people person place.”

“Great bowling venue. Tuesday are half price pretty much everything so quite busy but well worth going. Had a massive upgrade recently with better seating and eating. Arcade machines for the kids as well as an escape room. I haven’t tried that yet but the bowling is just as good as before”

“First time here, and the only thing we were disappointed about was that they have taken their exotic food off the menu despite still being advertised on the website. There were only 2 members of staff, and they were rushed off their feet, but still did a fantastic job. The place was clean/tidy and well kept, and the food was amazing and a reasonable price too. Would definitely come here again.”

I don’t normally eat at the Sun, but in the few times I have I can’t complain at all. Craig & Lauren I have to say are the warmest of people who are a credit to The Sun too. “Clean and spacious room and bathroom. As is pretty standard now most of the sockets in the room have built in USB chargers, so just being a USB cable with you to charge your phone. Not sure if it was due to the current fuel prices, but it was nice that for once the room wasn't overbearingly hot on arrival. Only downside was that check-in was very slow, it took almost 30 mins (arrived just behind another group).”

“Wow. That was the best meal we've ever had. From walking in to walking out was amazing. The food was absolutely gorgeous, brilliant chef. The staff were polite friendly nothing too much trouble for them. They had entertainment on who made the evening perfect. Would highly recommend going, you certainly won't regret it.”

“We had a really great experience here! Jeffrey was very polite, friendly, and attentive, he made sure we were comfortable the whole time. My family and I came from abroad, and we were pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the staff were. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and served well. Despite seeing some negative reviews, our visit was honestly excellent from start to finish. The service, food, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. Definitely deserving of a solid 5 stars!”

“With a tap selection that is on rotation its a nice surprise to find a new taste each week. The platter boards and honey sausages are lovely. They have regular evening events with karaoke, Greek and Curry nights, live music etc. The Laura and Paul are very knowledgable about any beer related questions you have and are constantly on the search for the next barrel to bring in. Also dog friendly - but they are only allowed the biscuits due to licensing laws.”

“Aww wow! Go here! We go to bawtry most Sundays, So we decided to explore the surrounding villages, this place was amazing. We rocked up after serving time, and the chef ( lovely lovely guy) came out and showed us the menus, and was more than happy to cook for us. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere was so nice and all the staff were helpful, funny and lovely! We’re going again next week. X”

“You can't go wrong at this wonderful pub. The food is superb, all the ingredients are locally sourced and cooked to perfection. You've got to try their full English breakfasts, especially the large belly buster. 3 sausage, 3 bacon 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, black pudding ( my fav), beans and plum tomatoes, comes with toast and tea. Me being greedy ask for fried bread on top....fantastic. But then, you've got to try their homemade pies, packed with filling to the brim, simply the best. They have lots of offers on different nights, so it's always worth calling in for a feast....”

“Quite a busy little local pub with a great atmosphere. Enjoyed a lovely meal there, just a simple pie chips and peas, everything seemed home made and was very tasty. Friendly and attentive staff looked after us well. I will definitely be making a return visit.”

“Lovely micropub with plenty of cask,draft,can and bottled beers to choose from. Sit back and relax outside on the platform and watch the trains and people rush by. Excellent. Friendly staff and good prices. Good range of Bar snacks available. Excellently and sympathetically restored interior of the old station buffet, which before these guys was relegated to a dilapidated store room after the buffet was shut by British Rail in the early 1990's or there abouts. Will certainly be back. *hopefully those screens on the bar are taken down soon as you have to go to the side of them anyway to get the beer or speak properly to the bartender :)”

“Only just moved in to the area and I've already found my go to place for food and drinks. The atmosphere is great with a very welcoming feel from all the staff and other patrons alike. The pizzas and chicken wings are literally some of the best I've had and I've eaten a lot of pizzas and chicken wings. Lastly if you drink the draught lager Asahi go steady on them I nearly fell over twice ;)”

“Visited several times for meals always cooked to perfection. Sunday lunch did not disappoint the pork just melted in my mouth. All the vegetables are fresh and served piping hot. Would definitely recommend. Staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble”

“We celebrated our 70th birthday with cooked meals for 21 family members and not a complaint from any one. Meals came out together as fast as they could be carried through from kitchen. We always enjoy our meals when we call in about once a week, but a little worried about us all getting our orders correct, We needent have worried, every thing was top notch, nice and hot. The chef even catered for one that is gluten intolerant, one with a nut allergy but a quick word with the chef and all sorted. The orders ranged from pie n peas, fish n chips, steaks, T.Bone steaks, mixed grills, chicken fajitas and my very own favourite smothered chicken. We were a very happy crowd and all satisfied at the end of the evening. The bar is always in tip top condition with beers as they should be. Thank you for making it memorable. WE WILL BE BACK.”

“I’ve been visiting The Grind for around three years now, and it’s hands down my favourite spot in Doncaster. The owner and staff are always so welcoming and lovely; nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The prices are really reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and the quality of the food. And if you’re into cocktails, you’ll be spoilt for choice; their menu is huge, and every one I’ve tried has been delicious! Highly recommend!”
