“An excellent Doctor’s surgery. In almost 10 years have had great experiences with the surgery and would not want to go anywhere else. Dr Page and Maureen (advanced nurse) have always been so helpful, empathic and always professional. All receptionists have always been helpful and friendly. Dr Page has been excellent with both my baby’s care and mine. He listens, is patient-focused and immediately follows through with actions from the appointment. If I phone at 8am I have usually been offered an appointment on the same day, more often not before 10am.”

“I was looked after by this team early this year , the care i was given wea womderful every one of the team i saw were excelent i think i was very lucky to have them looking after me ,, i was ill with numerous urine ifections my GP was not interested i, became acgresvive wanted to die i had been ill for 6 months before my care was taken over by the mental health team in no time at all the label i wfas given by my GP was wiped away i was never mentaly ill i had my brain scaned twice and found to be normal for a 79 year old lady i stopped having aillusions my family had the normal me back ,these peole gave me my life back i will always be very grateful for the care ifecivied xxxxxx”

“On the 29th of July 2025, while I was at work, my right eye suddenly closed. I went to A&E the same night and was told it was a chalazion. I asked whether there might be a problem with the nerve, and I was reassured there wasn’t. However, it later turned out not to be a chalazion, but Horner’s Syndrome, which is caused by damage to the sympathetic nervous system pathway. In my case, the cause was idiopathic, but in other circumstances it could have been something serious — such as a carotid artery dissection, which can lead to a stroke. That night, I could have been at real risk, and it makes me realise how easily a human mistake could cost a life. I understand that everyone in the NHS works under great pressure, and I truly appreciate the effort of those who tried to help me that night. I especially want to thank the GP in A&E who referred me to the specialists when I went back for the third time — I don’t know his name, but I am very grateful. I would also like to thank the ophthalmology department, who provided a high standard of care. I saw Dr Anne-Marie Firan, who was a knowledgeable and caring specialist. Thank you to all of you at Barnsley Hospital.”

The doctors I saw never listened to my complaints about the pills I was on brushing them off as normal side effects. I recalled using this clinic once in my past for an emergency pill and I decided to try going here instead. The staff are lovely and actually helped me find the right pills for me. I now have no side effects and know I can walk in and get my next set when I am ready. I always point my friends this direction for any sexual health needs because I know they'll retrieve the care and advice they need”

The staff I work with now listen to me, support me and help me with anything I am struggling with (despite their new. management who are not so good). I just want anyone who’s thinking of accessing support to know this team will help you. I’m no where near the place I was 12 months ago: things are still hard but I became stronger than I ever thought possible because of my self and this team. so please don’t be put off by the negative reviews. He wouldn't listen to her advice on what to do, and said he was putting a complaint in. “After calling at Doncaster A&E and facing a waiting room crammed full and a waiting time of four hours or more I rang the Doncaster Same Day Heath Centre from home and was offered an appointment fours hours later. The place was spotless and the staff very helpful. The doctor I saw was also most helpful and placed an electronic prescription which I was able to pick up from my preferred pharmacy almost straight away. All this when over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend when my GP was shut for two and a half days. An excellent service.”

Dr Drew is available for phone appointments. He’s so caring and professional, with excellent advice and a listening ear. I’ve had a same day GP appointment for a heavy cold. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and received immediate appointments for walk in X-rays, Physiotherapy and OHT plus equipment. No quibbles about prescriptions: I need them and get them. Boots is open to 9pm at night! My friends and family elsewhere are astonished at how well I’m treated. Where they live they can’t even get a doctor’s appointment!”
