“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. “Absolutely loved this place, the food is amazing and at £21 a head at the weekend it’s amazing value too. Everything is cooked to order rather than being left on hot plates. The staff are really friendly too explaining what each dish is and also allowing changes to the dish to be made. £49 inc drinks each for a Saturday late lunch and all you can each was so good value. “We recently visited Sheffield and discovered this lovely Taiwanese restaurant, and we're so glad we did! The food here is really delicious and authentic. We tried the fried chicken bento, spicy braised beef brisket, fried tofu, and of course, a classic bubble tea - we loved everything! The food was full of flavor and you can really tell that the owners pour their heart into every dish they make. Plus, the Taiwanese vintage wallpaper inside was such a nice touch. It just reminded me of home. The owner is super friendly and was so helpful especially since we were traveling with our baby. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience at Yum Yum Bites, and we highly recommend it!”

“Great lunch stop off joint if you fancy something different. The queues are out the door most of the time. I went for the Chicken and Spicy Potato, and a Falafel and Halloumi large wrap. I also ordered a portion of meat samosas. All the staff are super friendly and despite being busy busy, still took the time out to chat to every customer. The gentleman manning the till was literally flying around allover the shop. Was impressive to watch! The wraps were amazing…. The sauces we added were, Chilli, mint and Tahini. The large option will have you well and truly stuffed. The samosas weren't great if I’m honest. They were tiny and made of filo pastry, not of proper pastry as shown on their own menu board. If I’d known they were filo, I’d not have ordered them. Their great service and expectional wraps made up for the samosa.”

“Had a delicious meal at Pasha Turkish restaurant in Barnsley yesterday evening. There were 6 of us (aged 22 to 85 years old), and all of us enjoyed our food - it was fresh, cooked to order (e.g. one of us asked for their dish to be made without one of the listed ingredients), deliciously tasty, and good sized portions. Great service - the waitresses were pleasant, attentive, and professional. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, I’ve marked it down to 4 stars as the temperature was a little cooler than most and I was glad I had a cardigan. Although Pasha is on a side street in town, there is plenty of parking (including free parking if you know where to go - I gave the restaurant a ring in advance as I’m from out of town, and they were were very helpful) All in all, from our experience yesterday, this restaurant deserves to be popular.”

“So I booked in for the wife's birthday, table for 10 people, The place was buzzing inside and outside. Absolutely packed. The atmosphere was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food is next level. Absolutely delicious the Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The wait on the mains was an hour but the place was so busy, and we were happy chatting and drinking to notice. The price was cheaper than expected we had meals Puddings and drinks and it was worth every penny. We will definitely be back.”

This evening we enjoyed great service, freshly cooked super flavoursome food in a really relaxed and friendly environment-Another lovely evening at the Ashoka. Beautifully cooked and presented Indian food, served in a small and lively venue. The lamb chops were the most tender I have ever eaten, and the Taxi driver curry was really rich and tasty. The Nan breads were a perfect accompaniment to mop up the sauce. Also a good selection of beers.”

To say they blew us away with customer service is an understatement. 3 of us booked in for breakfast & we mentioned it was a pre wedding breakfast for the Groom, Grooms father & Best man. We arrived to find the table set up specially for us with a boxed flower arrangement & card written to the groom from all the staff. It was a tear jerker. Irrespective of the fact only 3 of us had booked to attend, the management had taken the decision to go the extra mile knowing we couldn’t possibly eat or drink enough to pay for the flowers or maybe they’d just break even. We talked about how amazingly kind they’d been all day. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I nearly forgot to tell you just how great the food was too! The best breakfast I’ve had for a few years also. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which was a treat you don’t often find. Super sausages & black pudding! The groom is vegan & Rondo caters as part of their standard offer a full vegan menu choice. Quite genuinely, it’s brilliant with awesome staff! Thank you all.”
