βGreat friendly old fashioned type pub Well done staff and ownersβ
βMy friend and I are regulars in The White Swan, the service from Grace and Beth this evening, as always, was second to none. Great food as always, highly recommend.β
βlovely pub:) the new owners and staff are all very friendly and polite, the food and drink is brilliant tooβ
βAmazing people helped me with an emergency. Thank you so so much for helping a woman in need!!!β
βKate is absolutely brilliant. If I could give 6 stars I would. The food was great and she looked after us very well. Best service in Sheffield all thanks to Kate.β
βGreat venue, quite small with lots of bars. Perfect for a Louis Dunford gig. Will be looking out for more gigs at this venue. Good sound, good views from floor level, very close to stage.β
βGreat atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, and a wide selection of coffee and other drinks? Sounds like a perfect spot for a coffee break! Here's a review based on your description: CaffΓ¨ Nero in Doncaster: A Cozy Coffee Haven If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop in Doncaster with a lovely atmosphere, great staff, and a wide selection of drinks, then CaffΓ¨ Nero is the perfect place for you. The first thing you'll notice when you walk into CaffΓ¨ Nero is the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is simple and elegant, and the tables and chairs are comfortable and inviting. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, and they're always happy to help you find the perfect drink. CaffΓ¨ Nero offers a wide selection of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and mocha. They also have a variety of teas, hot chocolate, and other non-caffeinated drinks. If you're looking for something to eat, CaffΓ¨ Nero also offers a variety of light snacks, such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Overall, I highly recommend CaffΓ¨ Nero in Doncaster. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea.β
βWent here for the Sunday carvery. We really enjoyed the food, it was lovely. There were plenty of staff and we were well looked after. Highly recommended. Thanks very much. It was our first time there and we'll definitely be going back.β
βA really friendly, cosy pub with a good atmosphere and an ideal place to watch sport, with live music every weekend. Quiz night every Thursday with a delicious pie and pea supper and friendly bar staff to serve a large selection of beers. A proper boozer thatβs well worth a visit, regardless if youβre young or old and dog friendly.β
βThe food is absolutely gorgeous, there was barely anyone in (early on a weekday) so we got to choose our table and had quick service. The food was all home cooked really good, not standard pub food at all. Pie was full of meat, gravy was great. The pasta was full of chicken and chorizo, we couldn't finish it all!β
βFab sunday lunch carvery with loads of veg great choice of meats kids under 2 eat free choice of small or large dinnerβ
βBest experience for friendship and atmosphere. Same people round me every match helpfull staff pity about some results at full time.β
βSaw" Hair spray "tonight.Absolutely out of this world.Excellent cast.well worth seeing.Better than many a London show!β
βNice local pub with a friendly atmosphere. It has a wide selection of lager, real ale and spirits. Plenty of TV's showing sports and a pool table. Highly recommend for a different place to visitβ
βBeen a few times. The kids love it. They can run around and get involved in activities. The manor itself is very interesting. And they let you pick fruit from their trees when they're in season.lovely friendly staffβ
βDespite arriving towards the end of service the carvery was absolutely excellent. The veg was lovely and the meat was phenomenal. Friendly staff and drinks and food for under Β£15 each, really no complaints at all.β
βI used to have a few pints in here from time to time. The real beers and ales were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a lively atmosphere occasionally. Sports and leisure programmes were regularly on the television. There was space to drink outdoors as well. I've chilled out outside with a pint once or twice.β
βDarts night Fri 6th had a great night unfortunately lost but enjoyed the hospitality. Sound!β
ββWe had an amazing experience at Party Hall! spacious, and perfect for event. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly.β
βMore than just a school, itβs a community which soon becomes apparent the moment you step through the door where traditional disciplines still exist. We have 3 children, Years 8, 10 & 12 who came up from Ranby House; weβve had our first experience of GCSEβs at Worksop College achieving Grade 8 & 9βs are obviously delighted with the standard of teaching/learning opportunities. They embrace boarding life out of choice rather than necessity. We have musical talent & can only say that the tuition, mentoring, performance opportunities must be explored if music is your childβs thing. We have a netball player, Fitness/gym/hockey player & a cricket enthusiast who are very fortunate to have the privilege of some fantastic facilities. As parents weβre also happy that our children have remained together throughout their learning as it has catered for all 3! I felt I must leave a review, especially during this very strange time for us all, this period of LOCKDOWN to praise Worksop College Ranby House on how theyβve handled the whole process for our children. Interactive/on-line learning was successfully implemented from Day 1 and their structured learning in place up to our Easter Break at the end of March, our children returning full-flow straight back into their βnew normalβ lessons, including music tuition, with great ease. The whole process during this unprecedented time has to be commended and as parents we are extremely grateful. We look forward to the day weβre all back to it!!β
βDidn't have food had a drink and a trip down memory lane. The refurbishment is welcoming owners friendly and helpful. Good to see it reopened good luck to the licensees in 2025β
βGreat few hours spent in here on Saturday night. Felt safe and drinks were reasonably priced.β
βHad a dinosaur themed birthday party for a six year old. It was an absolutely amazing experience for them. The host was outstanding in all of her interactions with the kids. They loved the dinosaurs, especially the life-sized blue. My only criticisms would be the lack of interaction/information during the first 30 minutes (they did run over the original end time, so it was still 2 hours, just didn't know what was happening at first), and unfortunately the heating had failed so it was very cold till the gas heaters got working. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it.β
βThis is a propa club. Good selection of drinks, lovely people and cheap prices. We felt safe in the pub, which was very clean and well kept. It has a good range of bands lined up and we will definitely visit again.β
βA good little auction on a Monday afternoon. Drinks and snacks are reasonably priced at the bar and the pool is also free.β
βThis is a very good church community charity centre which I donate food to the food bank and clothing etc which all goes into the community.β
βWe have spent the afternoon here having drinks and talks with old friends. A nice place with two rooms, one with a large screen and dance floor. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. We had a beautiful hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice. Toilets are clean and accessible. It was a bit tricky parking and crossing over the road as the pub is situated on a very busy blind corner so take care if you've had a few pints.β
βMy band played a birthday party there, it was brilliant, the function room, the stage, the buffet - everything was spot on. There was a good selection of drinks, not over priced like some event hire and the bar staff were so friendly and helpful. The rest of the club looked nice too with lots of sports shown in the main bar, a big snooker room and another bar area off round the side (which I didn't look in)β
βBest pub ive ever been in. Food absolutely amazing and always hot. Staff are very friendly and cant do enough for you. Clean pub with a brilliant atmosphereβ
βThis has become my favourite city centre pub. Great pub food menu & great friendly service by staff who know their job. Always a pleasant vibe, whether seated inside or outside, even on SUFC matchdays. The steak pie and mash was the best I've ever had. And their gravy is sendational ! Reasonable food prices, good range of beers. Only downside is the beer prices - Β£6.30 for a pint of IPAβ
