“The ambience of this place is perfect. It is located on the main road into Chesterfield Derby Rd, so it can not be missed. All the staff are very welcoming . There are four areas that you can dine in . We have now tried all four, and they are equally staffed and served at a high degree . Owners with dogs are encouraged to bring them along and dine at the extensive garden dining area lower to the main building . Here, you will find a large seating area covered with climbing wisteria. The main entrance to the building leads you to indoor dining and upstairs is the romantic dining area with the ceiling decorated in apple blossom perfect for that special or private function occasion. The exterior of the property has a wrap around balcony ideal for the smoking sector and pets. All the food is cooked to high standard, This establishment is perfect for business meetings and family gatherings or even a private ceremony. This is our favourite place we're we always bring visitors & family .”

“We had the 'Hassop' double room which was nice and big with a very large bed. The room was on the first floor overlooking the beer garden which was fine. Little to no noise from it at bed time. Didn't eat here but did have drinks in the bar on a couple of nights. The staff were efficient and friendly. Free parking is a bonus.”

“Fantastic experience at bottomless brunch at The Graduate! Even with 6 of us, service was really quick. One of the party is a coeliac and there were plenty of gluten-free options available. The bottomless brunch menu is vast and you receive 2 hours. I would definitely return and definitely recommend!”

“Been in lots of Wetherspoons but this was the first time visiting this one for breakfast & we will definitely be going back. We have a favourite Wetherspoons but this one was on a par with it. Impressed when we walked in. Lovely & clean. Nice atmosphere. Tidy tables not like some we’ve been in. Well presented food with very nice staff serving. Clean toilets too. Highly recommend”

“The Shiny Sheff pub opened in the late 60s and for most of its life, has welcomed visitors with a sign depicting artwork of HMS Sheffield, the famous Royal Navy destroyer. Sadly 20 crewman passed and many more were injured when the ship was attacked during the Falklands conflict 40 years ago this week. HMS Sheffield was later sunk, but in memory, a reunion of surviving crewmen, families and friends took place on Saturday 30-Apr-2022. The Shiny Sheff came to life, with hugs, smiles and tears to mark an occasion to remember. The Royal Navy is building the 4th HMS Sheffield and we wish her and the Shiny Sheff a long and happy adventure. A commemorative parade and service of remembrance was held at Sheffield City Hall and the Cathedral on 01-May. A two minute silence was observed for those not forgotten.”

Dragons Academy Eckington is a vibrant martial arts school situated at the Civic Centre in the heart of Eckington, Sheffield. “After not being very happy with our previous dance school we decided to look around for somewhere new and after lots of deliberation decided to give ATJ a try and we couldn’t be happier. They are unbelievably talented both the teachers and the other dancers, the communication is amazing and the whole school is so professional, even the uniform is cool!!! So If you are considering taking your kids dancing for the first time or moving like we did I guarantee you’ll love it here!! Cherienne is welcoming and the group is a friendly one with a variety of ages.The teaching is well structured with a mixture of warm up activities, barre and centre work based on classic ballet moves.I feel i have learned so much and am so grateful for this opportunity relatively late on in life ( i am seventy).The teacher is sensitive to returning learners and it is a very inclusive class.Thoroughly recommended if you are seeking an uplifting and inspirational teacher/ class”
