“My friends and I came to see the afternoon performance of a Christmas Carol on 14/12/25. This is one of my favourite films so the performance had a lot to live up too! It did not disappoint. Reece Dinsdale as Scrooge was outstanding. The whole cast was excellent as were the props (especially the ghost of Christmas future) All in all a lovely, entertaining afternoon. There was absolutely nothing to disappoint us. Thank you to all concerned in the production and the staff of the playhouse.”

“Its been quite a number of years since visiting this cinema, and what a pleasant surprise ! Not only is their "Insider" membership (which is free) a great incentive - cheaper tickets on a Sunday evening and all day Mondays and Tuesdays - (plus "cash back on purchases) but the seats are absolutely amazing. Massive comfortable leather reclining seats with foot rests and loads of leg room. Highly recommended !”

“I visited this store to purchase a new pair of trainers as I wanted to increase my running distance. I was firstly met by Amy - one of the staff members who was super helpful and spent around an hour helping me try on various pairs of shoes. She put me on the treadmill and did a gait analysis which uncovered a slight imbalance in my feet. This made me very nervous but Amy reassured me that this is common and after a few more try ons found a perfect pair of trainers for me - New Balance 880. I was very sceptical about spending so much money at first but my new trainers have been perfect, and I'm now much more comfortable with running longer distances. The whole experience was friendly, warm, and welcoming and I will definitely be visiting this store again for my next pair of running shoes. “Absolutely love the Irish Centre on York Road Leeds. The building is lovely clean and tidy, staff are polite and friendly. The entertainment and Tribute acts are brilliant and it has a great dance floor. And apparently on a Saturday evening now they have live music every week so get out of the house while your still breathing and able.. Enjoy Life.”

Soon as a walked in the guys where amazing and great open space with big screens for sports and could tell was a real buzz around the place , then we looked at the menu and the wing platter was the one we chose absolutely incredible and 3kg platter of wings was a proper topper so yes job well done”

“Magic Matt was absolutely amazing at my son’s 5th party! Fully entertaining for not only the kids but all of us adults/parents also! Many funny magic tricks, and always ensuring our birthday boy was made to feel special and apart of the main tricks, and extremely engaging to all! Also extremely organised, with a wonderful background, own fab and magical equipment keeping everyone engaged, and what we also loved so much is how magic Matt gathered all the children at the end to sing happy birthday with the cake on his stand and then turned everyone around so we could get a wonderful group picture of our son and all of his friends! Absolutely fab!!! Additionally, when it was party food time, magic matt even got all the children in an orderly line and one by one allowed them to go choose and grab their own seat; it really was very orderly and organised and wonderful! Magic Matt is definitely every parents dream for an entertainer and magician!! Everyone who attended gave nothing but positive praises, he was a delight in every way and very friendly!
