“Thursday evenings see Fred and Judith present an evening of music and song. The object being to give customers the opportunity to sing NOT KARAOKE in a wonderful atmosphere and receptive audience. Fred is a very accomplished musician and provides excellent backing, and sound system. The club itself is a delight. Very well decorated clean and welcoming. We'll stocked bar and friendly staff what more could you want.”

“Went to try the snooker tables out. To see if I could even hold the cue again after smashing my right shoulder up in a car crash. Happy memories of the Westminster Club in Doncaster came flooding back from my youth as soon as I walked in. Thanks guys and gals for the welcome. Alas, I now have to retire from playing snooker. But a fabulous club nevertheless.”

“Great club. We go for the Country music nights on Sunday night. Bingo and tote are very well paid out, and be-bop bingo is very entertaining. Good choice of beers too. Staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Fantastic night out. Great variety of crowd pleasing songs that never fail to get people singing along. Relaxed atmosphere means that you’re always comfortable and ready to get on the benches for a dance. Friendly staff who can never do enough to make sure you have the best possible experience in the venue. Live music on a Friday and Saturday keep things exciting as well as nights with things such as quizzes, bingo and live meet and greets means that there will never be a dull night. Wide variety of spirits as well as the house cocktails which never fail to impress. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Whilst this might not be popular with the young generation it’s a great pub with a good atmosphere. Worth booking a table on a weekend if you’re meeting friends as it can get really busy especially around the Christmas holiday period. Good range of drinks at reasonable prices for Wickersley. There’s a good sized beer garden with plenty of tables. There’s are some parking spaces at the side of the pub and the surrounding roads but it’s always very busy at the weekend.”

“A cracking little traditional pub in a lovely village toward North Notts. A good Sam Smiths cellar, well stocked with variety and kept really well, delivering good ales at a fabulous price. A real fire awaits you in the winter and there are quiz nights and friendly folk to welcome you. Staff are brill and this is a great place to call in for conversation, a beer or two and a couple of hours away from it all. Love it here.”

“Absolute top class customer service from Ellie (Store Manager) at JD Sports (Barnsley) today when I visited the store twice, once without my original receipt and then with it. Ellie had already processed the initial inspection slip after my first visit and then had to update it following my return visit with my original receipt. I appreciated the patience and understanding demonstrated by Eliie, particularly as she'd just finished dealing with an abrasive / rude customer immediately prior to dealing with me.
