The freshly baked bread was wonderful too . Driveway a little uneven but appreciated a place to park when we arrived . Highly recommend & wish we could have stayed longer”

“The Calver Arms manages to cater well for locals and visitors/walkers alike, a mix we saw when we called for lunch. New decor very pleasant. The food, pub classics done well, was very good. Steak and Ale Pies had a firm crust, good filling and served with chips and gravy. The Shepherds Pie, made from pieces of lamb shoulder, was also very good. Both served with slice cabbage, peas and carrots which was a good accompaniment. A nice pint of Chatsworth Gold. A good option if you are walking in the area or just passing by.”

The food was presented well, hot and very tasty. A good choice of drinks available and a good selection of breakfast options on the menu. “Iceland is conveniently located on market street beside a car park so is easily accessible. In store well laid out as usual with a very vast selection of . Different styles of chicken, pork, beef, chips, dairy and is reasonably priced really!! Staff are friendly and everything is laid on in sections so you know where to locate what you want!”

“One of the best garden centres we have found. Their plants are extremely good quality, great choice and amazing staff. We needed a tree delivering and although we are out of their delivery area they still brought it through for us, with a smile. It'll now be the centre piece of our garden and we're looking forward to the spring when we can go and find the rest of the much needed planting. His customer service is great including after sales with a query we had It looks truly incredible.... Really makes a difference to our garden and I know it will be enjoyed over this summer particularly and for many more All I can say is that garden furniture is in short supply, we looked everywhere, get down to Doncaster Lakeside if you are thinking of buying some you will not be disappointed”

“I visited Firth hall today for the mid-autumn festival conducted by confucius institute . Thank you to each and every person who worked on the show. I enjoyed each and every act. The graceful Chinese dance and the harvest moon song played. Learned about the culture and language. The best act being Chang’e , the story was told in a wonderful act.”
