“Great dentist.very friendly. always make you feel at ease.all the staff are so helpful.”
“Saw a nurse called ‘Judy or Judith’ (absolutely no offence meant) and what a knowledgable, kind, thorough, understanding and empowering woman she is… she reassured me, answered all my questions in detail and made me feel listened to..I had no idea what to expect on my visit but she made me feel so cared for I wanted to say a huge thank you. The building itself was light, bright, clean and modern… nice waiting area and friendly staff, they have their own carpark which was full (although not sure where all the people were!?!?) parking was available in the street so no problem.. The whole experience from referral to being seen was seemless. Thanks guys!”
“Had a wisdom tooth done at mexborough hospital facial clinic . quick and no messing around waited a long long time for a quick procedure .”
“I was apprehensive, but they took good care of me.”
“Tina .Wendy and Morgan have been great this week. Blood pressure needed doing four times a day. So kind and caring. Tina was brilliant and answered all the questions that I asked .Thank you x”
“i have been with the clinic for more than 10 years both me and my wife cannot recommend enough, very helpful and friendly staff and top class work. I have been suffering with toothache for a few days and decided enough was enough so i popped in the clinic at 9 am explained my issue and they were helpful and the lady receptionist got me in the same day at 14.30 for and extraction. Surprisingly she also asked if i was going to be at home and i was so should took my number and told me if there was chance of getting earlier she would ring me .Sure enough she rang me at 1200 and by 1300 that tooth was out . Unfortunately thanks to our government most dentists are having to go private but you get what you pay for and id rather have fast service (especially when it comes to toothache) and knowing i have a dentist with vast experience in his field .I cannot thank them enough as i am a very nervous patient but they really know how to put your mind at rest.....A+++++++++++”
“Brilliant practice always friendly and polite. Nurse was lovely who did my smear very friendly and reassuring, as smears go it was a delight lol”
“The 2 Reception staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Within 2 weeks of being on the waiting list we was accepted as nhs patients. Then registered our children and booked their checkup for the same week. Checkup and treatment appointment was only 2 days apart! Overall really good however the wait to be seen was around 30 minutes. Highly recommend”
“My docs surgery is useless for booking appointments within two weeks. To the point where I recieved my pills late on multiple occasions. The doctors I saw never listened to my complaints about the pills I was on brushing them off as normal side effects. I recalled using this clinic once in my past for an emergency pill and I decided to try going here instead. The staff are lovely and actually helped me find the right pills for me. I now have no side effects and know I can walk in and get my next set when I am ready. I always point my friends this direction for any sexual health needs because I know they'll retrieve the care and advice they need”
“Can't thank the doctor enough for the help in getting my daughter straight into hospital without going through A and E as she has a learning disability and autism. Rang and was seen the same day. He was very thorough and compassionate. Turns out her appendix had burst and she needed surgery promptly.”
“My son attends staff have always been great with him as he is very nervous and has had to have some treatments, receptionists have also always been friendly and helpful”
“I registered here a year ago and I’m amazed at the service I get. Within days of registration, I received immediate appointments for blood, bowel, breast and cervical tests. Dr Drew is available for phone appointments. He’s so caring and professional, with excellent advice and a listening ear. I’ve had a same day GP appointment for a heavy cold. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and received immediate appointments for walk in X-rays, Physiotherapy and OHT plus equipment. No quibbles about prescriptions: I need them and get them. Boots is open to 9pm at night! My friends and family elsewhere are astonished at how well I’m treated. Where they live they can’t even get a doctor’s appointment!”
“I would like thank all the Staff on Chesterman 4, the ICU, OCU and all the staff in theatre for the fantastic Heart Bypass they did for me on the 17th November, all the staff are exceptional. I am on the mend now and hopefully see another 20yrs. Thank you staff and the NHS for providing this Timing Belt Change free of charge. Thanks Paul Senior”
“Fabulous service, at first it felt a bit onerous to fill in the online referral but it was very user friendly and did help me to focus and be clearer about my symptoms which saved time in the face to face appointment (which I opted for although was given the option of a telephone consultation instead). I was kept quickly up to date regarding my request and telephoned within 2 hours to be offered a same day appointment which was totally satisfactory.”
“I wanted to write a review as a parent, having had a child admitted here last year. I have to admit when I googled the place once I knew it's where my child would be going, the reviews scared me at a time I was already scared. At the time it gave a score of about 2.4/5. I could tell, looking through, that they mostly seemed to have been written by children, but that did nothing to ease my fears or worries. I didn't need to worry though. Right from the first time I pulled in to the car park, the staff were nothing but helpful, kind and considerate. My main experience is of Emerald Lodge. Unlike my experience of a long term stay with my child in a general hospital, it was clear that every member of staff I dealt with here was understanding and empathetic with appropriate awareness of mental illness, and the ability to separate the illness and the child. At their worst, I know my child would say horrible things to the staff, and lash out - entirely caused by the illness, or at least their fight/flight response triggered by it - but the staff continued to treat both my child, and I, with respect, concern and care. Again, this is sadly not the response I experienced after challenging behaviours on a general children's ward, so it was refreshing not to feel judged and like I was responsible for bringing up a disrespectful child. I had to deal with numerous staff over a 4 month period there, and whilst there are some names who will always stick out to me as having gone above and beyond, there is not one person I felt didn't do an amazing job. My experience of the staff at the school there too was also brilliant. Caring people who were happy to talk to me, show me their classrooms, tell me how they'd come up with activities and topics to spark more engagement and interest from my child. I knew I could contact any time, and get an update, even if I'd been there just a few hours before. I knew if it all became too overwhelming, and I ended up a sobbing mess sat on the floor of a corridor, I wouldn't be judged or ignored - someone would make time for me if I wanted it, whether it was to bring me a cuppa and a tissue and give me space, or give me a hug and sit with me. I'm hoping by writing this review I get to help put at least one parent's mind a little more at ease. I know for a fact if my child was the kind to write a review, it too would probably be negative like others on here - but they spent those months there as a child, with a severe illness, away from home, battling their thoughts and being made to follow a routine, including eating, which was something their illness didn't want them to do. Of course they won't say they loved it there. But as a mum, I saw the progress these people helped him make. I saw staff at all levels doing anything they could do engage with him and win his trust. Even now, a good 2 months after discharge, he still uses techniques he was exposed to there, because they helped. He will refer to how certain staff would help him in similar situations (e.g. "we could do what Nick helped me do"). He will randomly comment "I wonder what they're doing at Becton", or remember activities he did there. My child still has a long way to go before he's recovered, if that ever happens, but from the boy who entered Becton, to the boy he was when he left, I just never thought he'd come so far in such a relatively short amount if time. If you're a parent reading this, my heart goes out to you, as I wouldn't wish the illnesses that require going somewhere like here on anyone... but equally, I hope this review helps you feel a little less worried, and gives you some element of hope. I know I will forever be grateful to the people who looked after my son, helped him battle against his illness, and helped him be well enough to come home. I hope with all my heart I never have to go back, but I know if I do, and we receive the level of care we experienced on our first admission, that I can be confident my child is in a place that will help them.”
“First class service received from all. The Chemist is excellent, always ready to help and advise. They look after my elderly mum wonderfully. So nice, so friendly, so thoughtful. I do not know how they cope, as they have so many rude customers, but they do. Thank you to all.”
“As with all doctor's surgery, they are extremely busy and hard to get through to at times. However, the care you receive is much better than some I have attended. I lived down south for a while, and I can say, without a doubt, the care from this surgery is fantastic compared to some southern practices.”
“Can't fault it got a lift down because I sliced my finger open with a Stanley blade. I was seen and gone within an hour. Great nurses, great reception, efficient. All good.”
“Brilliant surgery, polite, professional and friendly reception team. Especially Michelle who is a credit to the team, All the Dr's I've seen are genuinely interested and go above and beyond to help . Helen the practice nurse is lovely also. 10/10 surgery.”
“Cardiac appointment (26 11) Prof Roebuck, appointment 0915 seen 0917 excellent. Everything explained carefully, medication altered, letter dictated, appointments made there and then. Excellent communication skills and knowledge perfect. Made a possible distressing appointment easy and understandable. Thank you.”
“I was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.”
“I’ve been registered with this practice since I moved to Sheffield a few years ago; it has all the services you need and it’s well located near public transport. Dr Rowe, my GP is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I was offered great support for a long term illness, any follow ups or access to other services have always been quick. Thanks Clover City Practice and thank you for your support, Dr Rowe!”
“Brilliant dentist. Very caring and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend them”
