“Had a fab time at the Ballet and the theatre is such a lovely well kept place. It has a very nostalgic feel and complemented the ballet perfectly.Staff were all really pleasant and service at the bar was quick and efficient. Will definately visit again.”
“I visit this restaurant frequently and every time I eat there I am utterly delighted. The portions are great and the prices are competitive. I would recommend the place to anyone that wants amazing food and service. Your treated like part of the family. Thanks for everything.”
“A hidden gem in the heart of Nether Edge. A small theatre but this fits perfectly within it's idyllic setting.”
“The lyric couldn't help me and my family anymore than they did all the staff were amazing from start to finish. I would recommend this venue to everyone. Thank you guys for everything!”
“Staying here in my first year of university. Great location as it is very close to university, the highstreet and nightlife. I feel like it is a very safe place to live with security 24/7 and friendly reception staff who are always happy to help. The facilities are also very modern and clean making it feel more luxurious.”
“Excellent hospitality, clean place, Very good location. It was my first time to stay in a serviced apartment so i did not know much about it but Queen Stay is amazing & LUXURY. Actually much better than a hotel. I would definitely stay again when I comeback to Sheffield and highly recommend it.”
“Saw "A Christmas Turkey" play & really enjoyed it! Very intimate theatre run by enthusiastic volunteers who do a great job. An under-rated Gainsborough attraction.”
“The tallest tower -Known for its open lift- must travel once to go upto 15th floor to have a 360 degree view of Sheffield”
“My girls have been coming here since they were 2 years old. This isn’t just a dance school, EPA is a family where the teachers love our children and everyone who attends looks after one another. They are learning what it means to love Dancing, to work hard, to lose, win and most of all support everyone around them. Be there for each other. Thank you for welcoming us into the EPA family and always being there ❤️”
“What an amazing performance from the cast of Les Miserables, so very professional. Matthew Alsop was outstanding as Jean Valjean, he brought tears to our eyes. Well done everyone backstage too, superb lighting and props. A wonderful evening was had by all. Thank you.”
“My wife and i took my 5 year old Granddaughter today at the Beverley Parkway Cinema to see the Pantomime Pinocchio. It was very professional and afternoon of fun my Granddaughter loved it . Hopefully we can see the next performance there during Easter would recommend it .”
“My daughter loves going to her dance class every week, she has so much fun and enjoys every minute of it! Natasha is a great teacher who clearly has a lot of time for her students and has made my little girl very welcome. Since starting her dance classes she has already taken part in her first show which was beautifully put together and a lot of time, effort and fun was put in to it by all. Would highly recommend the studio dance and theatre academy!!”
“My daughter has been attending this dance school since she turned 3 and has had an amazing time. She has been given so many opportunities and it has really developed her dancing skills and her general confidence. This is down to how fantastic all the teachers are. They have offered her so much love encouragement.”
“My daughter now 8, has been loving having lessons at the Heights Ballet and Theatre School since she was in nursery age 4. The location of the Heights and the fact that they pick up from Hallam Primary school drew us to the school and has been a massive bonus for enabling her to dance twice weekly. The supportive and enthusiastic teachers at Heights have all contributed to her growing in confidence and obviously her wonderful dancing skills. I'm so proud of how she performs in front audiences with such passion and positiveness; she loves the shows and the fancy costumes she gets to wear! She's in a happy place when she's presenting what she's been working on in her classes in the kitchen at home to us all! At school she'll actively look to take on speaking parts and do demonstrations in front of the class or at child/parent events and I feel that her time at the Heights has certainly contributed to this assertiveness. The Heights teachers and fellow dancers of all ages are such positive role models and all encourage each other. It's a lovely environment for my daughter to be developing her passion for dance and performance. Thank you Heights family!”
“Great time watching Grease tonight. Nice experience watching outdoors. Will be booking again.”
“I'd tried several dance classes but because there were a lot of participants I didn't feel I was getting much out of the classes. However with my first adult jazz class at DDTA I felt at home, with the small size of class, expert supportive tuition and wonderful choreography by Miss Sally.”
“My granddaughter had an absolutely fantastic time at the camp. Staff are friendly and welcoming. What they accomplish in the 3 days is amazing. She is already talking about next years camp. Would highly recommend for your theatre loving children.”
“My daughter loves her ballet, tap and Acro dance sessions. The Winter Wonderland shows she has performed in have been creative and professional.”
“My daughter has been attending Peak Performance since she was 4. She's now 9 and her confidence and dancing ability/skills have grown so much under the thoughtful and kind tuition of Jilly and the other teachers at the school. She's also made great friends and had so much fun! There is a great blend of shows/performances (with very exciting costumes!) and examinations. No pressure for either - both done in a way that motivates and encourages. Each Saturday morning there are the following classes: ballet, tap, modern, musical theatre and gymnastic dance - something for everyone. I can't recommend this school and its lovely staff enough!”
“Volunteer-run free library. Good stock of books to borrow, also secondhand books and jigsaws to buy to keep the library running. Local artists's work on display and for sale. Lots of special events and regular film nights.”
“A lovely family run dance and theatre school, very relaxing and accommodating environment where the children can express themselves freely with no pressure. Miss Olivia and the staff go above and beyond organising shows and fundraisers and visiting other local events in the area. My daughter absolutely loves going and has been for several years. It's a wonderful little gem to have in our local community.”
“Best money I spent all year was buying tickets to see the panto again.Take my Grandsons every year, this is our special time together, and we love singing along, booing and cheering. Happy memories that we will always remember. The shows are first class, and enjoyable from the second the curtain goes up until the second it goes down.Sorry, just edited my review, meant to give you a brilliant 5 stars( wasn't wearing me specs!)”

“I have been a student with the Real Music Centre literally from the very first day that they opened their doors. I have singing, flute and music theory lessons with their talented, professional and highly qualified tutors. I have also recorded vocal cd's in their recording studio under the watchful, extremely professional and highly experienced eye of their MD, and owner, Alvin Marper. I am also a member of the choir and a founder member of the associated theatre company. The tutors provide excellent tuition suitable for complete novices right through to the more seasoned performer. A willingness to learn is met with dedication, support and tuition that is second to none. The range of services offered are wide and cater to all musical tastes. If you wish to take formal music examinations then these are also facilitated with the added bonus of being able to take your examination at the Centre. This is much more positive and supportive, being able to take an exam in a familiar environment, rather than having to go to an external centre. I have also taken several exams with the Centre and found it to be a very positive experience. Since joining the music centre, my confidence in my abilities has increased which has also had a positive effect on other areas of my life and now sees me performing with the Centre, the choir and theatre company on a regular basis. Lessons are available 6 days a week and although the Centre is very busy (which is understandable given the quality of learning offered), they are flexible and accommodating when it has been necessary to occasionally change the time or day of a lesson. If you have a desire to learn and a passion for music then look no further than the Real Music Centre; once you give it a try you will never look back.”
“My girl absolutely loves her dance school, she’s made has learnt so much and come on in such little time. “Karl is one of the best NPORS instructors in the country, his easy nature puts all on his courses at ease and his ability to explain what is required from you to excel to your maximum potential is second to none. He now has Ash working alongside him doing CSCS courses, another nice fella and a credit to Karl.”
