“First class concert venue. Excellent acoustics and lovely friendly staff.”
“À great local theatre owned and run by volunteers to a professional level. I've been many times to watch theatre, not interested in tribute bands etc, and the standard is always to the highest level. Really interesting range of productions on both the main stage and the Green Room stage. Good bar upstairs and down and not too bad on the prices, ice creams for the interval, drinks can be taken into the auditorium in plastic glasses. Everybody working here volunteers from the bar staff to the actors which is amazing, the standard throughout is very professional. If you live locally or you are having a trip to this wonderful market town take time to watch one of the many shows a year, one a month and more to see if you like tribune bands, something for everyone.”
“We went for the first time to see fleetwood Unchained a new local band which were absolutely fabulous. The venue is quirky, has friendly staff and a fantastic vibe about it.”
“Had a brilliant night seeing The Wailers for a second time here. Not as crowded as last time so we were able to get a bit closer. Loved the show, and nice to see a mixed crowd of reggae fans. Awesome venue, very easy to get in and out, friendly staff and vibe.”
“Went to the xmas show Tinker very enjoyable plus the grand kids loved it”
“If you're a student at the University, this is the best place to go to see movies. The price is really cheap, the cinema is cool and the staff is great.”
“Brilliant Show! Very, very professional effort and great entertainment!”
“My son started his Big Mouth journey in Sept 2023 and has not looked back. He has always loved performing and drama, but Big Mouth encourages the children to write their own script and lead their plays. The children don't have to 'audition' for a part so no child feels left out, it really develops their confidence and self esteem. Alongside this Big Mouth offers fun get togethers and celebrations outside of the regular setting. I would absolutely recommend Big Mouth!”
“So great - my 6 year-old Daughter just joined recently and she really enjoys it! She's singing and dancing at home even more than before now which is lovely to see. I also think that the company's comms are excellent!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed their latest offering (Improbable Fiction). Looking forward to future comedies.”
“Great welcoming place. Just been to the new Scrabble/Board Games Group which started this afternoon. Fun, very relaxed, cuppa, chocolate brownie and good to meet people. Come along, meeting monthly at the moment (check website or call centre for future dates). Come along and give it a go!”
“Awesome architecture & loads of history behind the Northington Grange. If you're in the area it's definitely worth the visit, we walked around the outside close to the building & then again on the grass away from the building to admire all the architectural work. Heaps of room for a picnic and room to play soccer and other games. The building is starting to deteriorate & needs some needs good upkeep & definitely a pressure washer and this place will be better than ever. Signs around the property with information about the history about the Northington Grange, who the owners where, architectures etc. The most annoying thing is the drive from the main road to the property, there are heaps of potholes along the dirt road. Read more at Raif & Vy Travel Blog.”
“Went on a photography course here. Very clean and well maintained. Didn't use the cafe but it looks good. For students only so not open to the public.”
“Booked tickets to see Josh Widdecombe at the Pavilion. Between buying them and the night of seeing Josh I’d had an accident which made going upstairs to our seats quite unachievable. Spoke to the lovely Katherine there and she managed to put us in seats on ground level. Amazing night and I met Josh so my year of pain was well worth it especially as I came so close to not going.”
“Wonderful time here. My kids aged 10 and 8 absolutely loved it. So much to look at and get stuck into. They particularly liked the space section downstairs. The show is worth the extra £4 . Exciting and educational for everyone and has the wow factor. Car park is free which is really good, felt the tickets were a little on the high side but still enjoyed the experience and would visit again”
“I had a fantastic time at Showcase Cinema. The seats were super comfy, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the movie. The sound and picture quality were excellent too. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“We are on holiday. Booked to see The Lymington Players. A really enjoyable evening the actors and actresses performed so well.”
“I am an active member of this local theatre company.”
“Really good am dram shows in an intimate theatre”
“My son joined as a shy teenager and developed as a performer during his time with Gantry. He took GCSE drama, then BTEC Musical Theatre and now at Chichester University studying for a Musical Theatre degree. The performance opportunities at Gantry helped him develop and progress in performing arts”
“My daughter attends Shine drama classes and is also signed up with their SPA Agency. She absolutely LOVES the classes and her confidence has improved in leaps & bounds over the last 3 years. As well as participating, she is now also script writing for some of their filming projects and helping with directing too. She has completed grades 2 & 3 of the LAMDA examinations, for which she had some 1 to 1 lessons to really hone her skills, and she achieved a distinction both times! She came out saying 'I can't wait for grade 4'! I highly recommend Shine and their team, my thanks go to them for all they do with my daughter.”
“The audience helps to shape the story, what a great idea! I love the creativity and inclusion but most of all the fun of every performance. Strongly recommend seeing them whenever possible.”
“A very enjoyable performance of Midsummer Night's Dream”
“My daughter absolutely loves attending her Saturday class in Bursledon. She always has such a great time and loves everyone. Would highly recommend she’s turning into a real confident little one. The extra holiday sessions they run are amazing too!”
“I am Luke Brown I made this place. Bow down to yo boss luke brown that's me luke brown.”
“Traditional Punch and Judy Show only in the Summer months. Great old fashioned entertainment for all.”
“Fantastic. Loved them last year at The Ludlow Medieval Fayre. Looking forward to seeing them this year!”
“Best thing ever watching granddaughter perform at sound pop recomeded !! The kids that performed are these”
“I worked with KATA for Move It 2019, an opportunity I wouldn't have had if not for them. Everyone was incredibly supportive, from staff to fellow dancers, and we were all continuously pushed to build our skillset and confidence. A wonderful team to work with and I would highly reccomend them.”
