“Great find with a road running parallel with the High Street. We had a starter (that was a main) that we shared - tenderlion beef with steam rice. It was lovely with oriental spices. for main we had a noodle dish each. i had the staple dish - beef ho fun. very tasty, but not as crispyi would like (less wok hei). Partner had Singapore ho fun (which is normally vermincelli noodles, but they were kind enough to swap ingredients for her). very tasty, filled with shredded meats and whole prawns. would highly recommend.”

“We ordered two pizza for collection on the 11/04/25 at 15:30 , the young man made the perfect , delicious pizza for us . Looked like exactly on the pictures ( all toppings were nicely organised, cheese even ) . We would like to thank him , and also for being very polite, and quick! Best domino’s pizza what we ever had !”

“A excellent cafe/bistro situated approx 10 mins walk from Winchester Station. It's a Hip & Happining place to enjoy your food. I had scrambled eggs on toast and it was lovely with a cup of pot of tea. The staff are all very friendly and very polite. Be aware it does get busy so get there early if you can. Most of the seating is inside.”

“Came here for lunch and I was completely blown away! Situated outside of the main town, this gem of a place was a really great find. Quality of ingredients was superb, especially the salmon. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the peking duck roll, eel unagi & salmon nagiri. The menu has a ton of items so be prepared to be overwhelmed at first! There’s something for everyone. Server was really nice and attentive during our visit. 10/10”

Every single dish was perfection — from the first bite to the last. The flavours were so fresh and beautifully balanced, and you can tell how much care goes into every detail of the presentation. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth soft, the sauces were rich but never overpowering, and the dessert was the perfect ending. Every course felt like a little piece of art. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, the plating was stunning, and the staff were so kind and attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything so right — food, service, and overall vibe. If you’re looking for a meal that truly wows you and leaves you speechless, this is the place. “I recently visited Gurkha’s Inn for a birthday meal, and had a throughly enjoyable experience. The food and the service were both excellent, and everything I ate was sensational. If you’re looking for some great curries and Nepalese food in Winchester, Gurkha’s Inn is a ‘must visit’.”

“I highly recommend Bento! The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff team is always friendly and welcoming. Their Yaki Udon, Salmon Futomaki, and Swiss rolls are must tries. Their drinks menu is also impressive, with refreshing options that perfectly complement the meal. Whether you are in the mood for a fruity tea or a creamy milk-based drink, there is something for everyone. BTW I really love their Tiramisu Swiss rolls ❤️❤️❤️. “I went there today with my daughter and friends, I have had omlette with mushrooms, peppers and cheese, it served with salad. I also had coffee. Everything was nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and kind. I absolutely loved it. I will definitely go back there again.”

“Although Winchester does have a number of pizza restaurants already, The Pizza Tavern is a great new addition. As it's not a big chain, you're getting great quality pizzas and supporting a local independent business. My pizza was delicious, and I thought it was very fairly priced for the quality. The service was friendly and efficient, and I liked the rustic setup in the restaurant. It's not somewhere I feel you would go for an 'evening out' as when I visited, there were not any starters or desserts offered, but it is great for a quick meal if you're out and about or at the start of an evening out. I will definitely be back.”

“We were looking for a carvery and was recommended The Forge by a friend. First time here and they did not disappoint! The meats and veg were lovely, generous portions and cooked well. The puddings were astounding, I had the brownie and ice cream, it was unreal! Just look at that presentation, it made me say "wow" when the waitress brought it over. We had 2 drinks 2 meals and 2 puddings all for £37, I think that's an insanely good price! The atmosphere was really nice as well, we had a great night, thanks! 5/5* would 100% recommend!”

“Came for lunch on a week day, wasn't expecting too much but given the car park was nearly full and the pub was quite busy I had better expectations and I wasn't wrong, the team were friendly and helpful. They have a good range of beers and drinks, the wine was of a good standard too. The show stopper was the food, I had venison, my wife the chicken, both dishes were delicious, frankly I could have eaten anything listed on the specials board, we left very happy!”

“Very tasty tacos in centre of Winchester. Really nice vibe. Dog friendly. Key thing is all home made. The tacos were so soft and fluffy and the fillings had real flavour and depth. Nice bar space inside with wide choice of beers. Would definitely go back.”

“The best burgers me and my mum have ever had. We had half each of the shredded chicken and beef brisket, they were both absolutely devine. I could not recommend eating here more. Even the chips were beautiful. 100% will return. These really just aren't any burgers !!!”
