“My daughter has been attending Seaward for the past 21months since she was 1years old. She thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery and on pick up she loves telling me about all the things she’s learnt and achieved (and quite often I get some lovely artwork to hang on the fridge). Sophie and the team are very welcoming, kind, thoughtful and exceptionally motivated to teach and progress all the children in preparation for future schooling. Sophie keeps us well informed with an emailed monthly newsletter, letting us know of the upcoming learnings, aswell as regular updates from my daughters keyworker on the Tapestry app with photos, videos and written updates of skills she has achieved. Seaward is divided into two class’, however they do when possible mix the children together as children of all ages learn such different skills from one another. They are like a family at Seaward and they really care about each individual child and encourage their unique personalities to thrive whilst also instilling great values and social skills. Seaward always have a deliciously home cooked meal each day which is included in their prices and rotated each season on a 4weekly basis. Having the hot meals prepared at the nursery is so useful for our already busy morning schedule but this also encourages the children to eat together around the table which has contributed to some very good manners being learnt from an early age. I am excited to be sending my son to Seaward Day Nursery in February 2025 after his first birthday and I would happily recommend Seaward to any parents who are looking for a kind, enriching learning atmosphere with passionate staff for their children to further develop.”

“Only preschool near by that takes from 2 years, both my daughter's loved going here!! All the staff are friendly, approachable and very welcoming. The site is set on the local primary school field and provides an abundance of space for out door play includes the mud kitchen which was my daughter's favourite. I Couldnt imagine sending my children anywhere else, my son cant wait to start in april.”

“Great pool for young kids who are ready to increase their distance with independent swimming. Fantastic teachers who go in or out the pool depending on ability and confidence of the group. Really recommend”

“Our daughter 3yrs enjoys her ballet classes tremendously. I as a mother found them so good that I joined their adult classes and it’s a weekly highlight for me. Highly recommend because the teachers are exceptionally well trained and always keep a good momentum with the children it is always organised but with fun even for shy little dancers.”

“My kids have both swum with Wessex swim school and have progressed amazingly. The small groups ensure that the children are not left getting cold waiting for their turn and mean they get more swimming time and therefore progress faster! My first child swam with a few other schools before coming to Wessex and there’s no comparison. Thoroughly recommend Wessex Swim School”

“This is by far the best nursery in the area. My son found other nurseries difficult to settle in as he was very clingy. Lee and her staff at Parkfield were very patient, kind, fun and let him settle at his own pace. With some being mums themselves they understood his anxiety and were very nurturing and good at reassuring and distracting him. The Montessori equipment is endless, there’s so many educational activities and the nursery is the biggest I’ve seen in the area, with a huge outdoor space. However they have a small number of child to adult ratio. Being in a school was an excellent insight to prepare him for a school setting next year and it’s very secure. I feel very safe leaving him there, he’s a very happy boy and always leaves with lots of arts and crafts that he’s been busy making each day. I would highly recommend parkfield nursery.”

“We have always loved Paint Pots. The meals from Hungry Monsters are always well thought out, nutritious and my daughter normally eats it so not sure why anyone would have an issue with them it's never been a problem. Staff in the baby room talk nicely to my little one and I've never had a problem when I needed a chat. The one time I had an issue with a snack it was resolved quickly. Lots of space for my little one too. Highly recommended.”

“I finished up at Shirley school in 2009. It hold some of my best childhood memory's. I had a time learning and it was really fun. I met most of my best friends there. They're are so friendly and don't allow any bullying to be done. I wish i could go back and do it all again. I would seriously recommend sending your child to this school. I hope they love it as much as i did. And tell them to make the most of it there because once they leave, they will probably miss it like mad like me :'(”
