“Bulgarian wine!!!! Absolutely loved this Bulgarian wine tasting, something a bit different with wine that was surprising and thought provoking and some great information on the areas the wine came from and a lesson in how to check the acidity of white wines and the tanins in the reds. Cecile is always fun, exuberant and really gets the group engaging. Over the years we have attended 4 different wine tasting sessions with this amazing school and had a fantastic time every time. Give it a go you won't regret it.”

“Have been going to Adult Beginners Ballet for over a year and only have good things to say about it. Carmel is an amazing teacher, she makes the evening light hearted and fun whilst teaching you new skills and making sure you get a great workout. People are friendly and there is always a good atmosphere. Carmel ensures there is always a good mix new dance techniques to learn along with practicing previous techniques, always with lovely music. All abilities are welcome which is good for me with no experience at all. I'm grateful this class exists.”

“Kingfishers is absolutely fantastic! My son started here following a different setting so he knew no one. I was so apprehensive but the staff were so welcoming and within weeks he had new friends which he still has to this day. They enrich the children with so many activities and styles of learning. There is something for everyone. My daughter has now recently started and she is thriving. I'm so greatful to say my children's journeys have been spent here. Would 100% recommend this setting to any parent who wants their child to love learning and exploring.”

“Both my daughters are at WTA now aged 15 and 17 and have been with the group sine they were 5. My eldest is just about to perform for the final time in the Christmas concert, which we are excited to see. They both love WTA and have made some life long friendships (I’m sure) from their time there. My eldest daughter has really improved in her confidence and ability, especially in singing and is really sad that this is her final year. WTA productions never cease to amaze me in their creativity and professionalism. “I was so lucky to discover Alchemy Dance. After the first six week course I was completely hooked. The atmosphere is friendly, kind and relaxed. The teaching is of an extremely high standard. They also provide an online service so if you prefer to learn at home, or put in extra practice you can. They also run lessons in Basingstoke and organise socials in both Winchester and Basingstoke. I’ve just returned from a weekend of salsa organised by Alchemy, brilliant fun. One person flew in from Texas to join us and other people came from all around the country! They kept telling us how lucky we are to have Davina and Marchant as our teachers - we know! Don’t let two left feet or a lack or rhythm put you off trying it.”

“The classes are fantastic. Silvia and Max are friendly, talented, excellent teachers and every class is so much fun. Despite being nervous at first this feeling quickly vanished. Classes have a mix of abilities so there is no need to worry about not having done it before and every one is so friendly and helpful. I always come away having reinforced a skill, learnt something new and having had a really lovely evening with a great group of people. The mixture of focussed lessons and social dancing time to practise is the perfect blend with great music too! These classes have improved my fitness and confidence as well as introduced me to a brilliant group of people and shown me it's never too late to learn something new. A lovely venue with one of the best views of Winchester in the city. It is also helpful to be within a ten minute walk from the station when coming from work.”
