“I had an excellent experience with Hylands Electrical and would gladly recommend them to anyone in the market for quality home appliances and reliable service.”
“Lovely place, got take out this morning for the first time but eat in regularly. Great coffee and tea, delicious food, recommend but save me my seat!”
“Probably the best coffee house in Crewe town centre. Coffee is excellent as are the selector hot and cold snacks. Add to that the cakes and sweet treats and you've got a really good food and drink offering. The atmosphere chilled and relaxed with more gentle background music. No banging pop or rock tunes here. There's even a library and reading area where you can sit and sip away to your heart's content. This place has a very sophisticated upmarket feel usually found in much larger towns or cities. The staff are always polite and friendly and deliver a mean coffee of your choosing.”
“Such a lovely place to stop for a cuppa & cake or delicious ice cream. Super friendly, loads of parking if you’re in a car, and plenty outdoor seating in a lively atmosphere.”
“Beautiful area to rest and unwind after a beautiful walk in the Countryside. Ordered a bacon sarnie the lady was delightful. And no hyperbole probably the BEST Bacon Sandwich I've ever had that Bacon was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!”
“Took my daughter out for lunch. We had sausage / bacon sandwiches, drinks and cake. We received a warm welcome and the foid, which was excellent arrived promptly. Will certainly be back to try more of the delicious sandwiches and cake.”
“A great little spot. We had the traditional breakfast and it was very nice. Reasonably priced. Others tell us the breakfast baps are also great. Service was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful little spot for a sunny morning, over looking the lock. Also dog friendly. All the locals were also very friendly. Would definitely go back.”
“Such a cracking little coffee shop. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly think, yes, this is what local business is all about. Great atmosphere, lovely people, and you can feel the pride in every cup. Always happy to support places like this — they deserve it.”
“Love this cafe - it has a nice upstairs area with more seating (including some comfy chairs and sofas). I have had sandwiches and oatcakes here in the past and both have been good. Tea is always really nice here - they have a loose leaf tea which is very good. The cakes are excellent too, definitely recommend. The only improvement I would make is to speed up the food service a little (not too much, doesn't need to be super fast), but the food service is very slow so you can't go there if you're in a hurry!”
“You are guaranteed a seat here and a delicious full English breakfast. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. There is also a quieter first floor which is great for reading. I would highly recommend visiting.”
“Nice relaxing cafe. Had baguette and a brew. Very nice and fresh and reasonable prices. Other items worth trying so will definitely be back one lunchtime to sample. Some cafes are noisy with coffee machines etc but this wasn't. Thumbs up from me.”
“Staff were all super friendly and really knew their stuff I was impressed! the samples were a nice touch, ended up buying a flavour I wouldn’t have considered otherwise. Thank you”
“Excellent lady behind the counter and an absolutely beautiful smooth latte. Not too strong in taste and not served so hot it burns the tongue out of your mouth. Excellent.”
“I have used Fixit a number of times and the service has always been first class. Reg knows exactly how to explain what needs to be done and his pricing is always sensible. An awesome customer experience. Thank you again. Phill”
“Since the new management has come in, the menu has expanded a fair bit but the food is delicious. I really enjoy the breakfast wrap and the option to add or take away items is great. Its very fairly priced and they also make delicious hot drinks. The staff are very approachable and attentive.”
“We popped in Thursday 18th of September 2025 , for something to eat with my wife and daughter, because we haven't been to Shrewsbury for years, my daughter had a 4 day break in the city. It's a quaint little cafe , service with a smile and friendly. Reasonable prices good atmosphere it was about 3 o'clock ish and still busy , but got seating okay. Food was lovely and it was prompt . So all in all well worth a recommendation to come again when we next return from Liverpool. Thanks again all staff and cooks from the Taylor trio liverpool.”
“I have been here for breakfast a few times now and it is always lovely. Staff are kind and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We recently ordered sandwiches for a family party. There was an issue with the order on the day but the staff were quick to rectify this which was greatly appreciated. The sandwiches were good quality and everyone enjoyed them.”
“Lovely place with character. Good range of cakes and nice coffee. Also they accept cash, which I liked.”
“The food was amazing, we was lost, so we did have a nice meal and drink from here. It was really nice”
“Visited for the first time and had a lovely lunch. I had the Nourish Bowl and it was fabulous, just the type of food I enjoy. Crisp raw vegetables, a yummy dip, tasty hummus, sweet potatoes, falafel and couscous. Will definitely visit again!”
“A great place to stop for a coffee and cake or ice-cream when walking around Astbry Mere. Welcoming servers and friendly atmosphere. Most of seating is outside but a lot is under cover.”
“What an absolute delight this amazing place is. You first enter and think it’s a butchers then there is a shop which has stopped in time only to discover the museum gosh it took me back to a very young girl! We then approached the cheese section, I was salivating only to then go to the most quaint ordering counter and place our breakfast order which all the meat came from the butchers at the front off the shop ! The breakfast was truly amazing we had the full English breakfast , my son and I had the omelet with everything and we left with very contented tummies and a shopping bag full of lovely goodies bought from the shop & cheese from their own counter my only regret was that I didn’t buy their last home made pork pie ! So I will have to go back This truely is an amazing spot to go to you will not be disappointed”
“Charming, somehow dated and yet very clean cafe with brilliant food and lovely service. It feels cosy here- bit like visiting your nan :-) Some vegetarian options to chose from”
“9am on Sunday morning we had a brilliant cooked breakfast for two, with toast and coffee for £17 - the owner even gave us a sausage for our dog! Top class nosh, just the job! And there was parking right outside big enough for our campervan. Take cash (there's a machine in the Coop 2 min away).”
“Such a nice atmosphere here! Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Just a relaxing and pleasant way to spend an afternoon.”
“Lovely little place, staffed by volunteers who are amazing. The cranberry teacakes are delicious and the coffee is so good.”
“I’ve never been a regular anywhere before but here the staff are always friendly and helpful. They always have a smile and are ready to make fabulous drinks. I’ve been here that often they now know my order by heart! The hot chocolate is the best and my partner and parents agree the coffee here is the best in town. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.”
“I've been here a few times now and I can safely say I'll be calling in many more times whilst I'm working in Shrewsbury. The food is spot on and the strawberry milkshakes are the best I've ever had. They have homemade cakes as well but I am yet to sample them. Perhaps on my next visit.... If you're on Castle Street and fancy a bite, I highly recommend you call in.”
“I live in a lovely town with a great high Street and a wide variety of shops. But by far the best thing about it is Deli 45. The owner Lisa has a brilliant choice of eat in and takeaway food, the best coffee there is and a wonderful team to look after you. Dump your Costa and Starbucks they are not a patch on Deli 45, try the cake as well it's a knockout!”
“This is a fabulous place to come too Good food Very pleasant And the train ride is amazing”
