βNice quiet.train station pub with a grest selection of Titanic beer. Try a Grand Reserve Plumb Porter, one of the best drinks frim Titanic. It closes early at 7pm but a great place to wait while the rush hour traffic dies down.β
βFabulous rooms. Modern and clean. Food was good. Was on group booking, and was a little restricted to what we were told, but main course was tasty. Drinks as expected, but Lottie made some great suggestions and banging cocktails. Nice to see her have enthusiasm and hospitality skills to adapt to different customer needs. Well doneβ
βOpens at 12, best to arrive around then as it can get busy later. Great selection of food available with a kids menu as well. Food is served quickly and even when busy you do not have to wait long. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to clean the tables. Lots of space inside with seating outside as well. Good atmosphere. Great value for money. Regular buses on the road by the carpark.β

βA great pub. Great food and drink. Landlord is a gentleman and his wife a fantastic cook. I always have the gammon washed down with a few beers. Menu is varied, TVs not too intrusive and a good selection of drinks including the local gin. Take plenty of cash as they do not take cards. (they now take cards, still a fantastic pub:) I would travel to visit this pub but am lucky enough to live 2 mins away!β
βI get take out food every other week while I'm at work, and its amazing. Loads of vegan options, and the owners are so lovely. Always love trying new bits. The vegan hot chocolate is lovely and the jacket potatoes and toasties are divine!!!β
βToday we were celebrating my sisterβs 70th Birthday and what better place to accommodate 19 of us? Some of us had been before but others hadnβt. The ones whoβd been before for the Sunday buffet couldnβt wait to come again and the others thought it was ideal. From start to finish the staff were friendly & efficient, the food was fantastic, couldnβt fault it. A really enjoyable way to celebrate a 70th Birthday with family. We will be back.β
βWent here on Saturday night while visiting family in the area. We are from Vale of Glamorgan in Wales. Food was delicious and very generous portions. I had lamb potato chops for starter. I can absolutely recommend this. For my main I had the Bombay Salmon Tikka. This is new to the menu and I can honestly say it was the tastiest meal I have eaten for a long time. The staff were so polite and friendly. Service was amazing. Thank you xβ

βRun by local residents, which is always a bonus, not sure but I think they are actually volunteers. The breakfast was lovely and your drink comes with it. Excellent value for money and lovely friendly people who work there. We'll worth a visit.β
βThe accomodation was excellent. We had a converted outbuilding to ourselves with a choice of bedrooms, a small kitchen, lounge and conservatory. A friendly welcome from Eileen together with a couple of generous slices of cake was a perfect start to the stay at the farm. There was plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk etc and the kitchen was well appointed with immaculate and modern appliances. The owners have got a Labrador puppy named Harper who was absolutely adorable. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return to this idyllic and peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up having a curry in a restaurant called "New royal balti" in Audley which was superb. Being non licensed we took a bottle of wine there from the Tesco store a few doors away.β
βGreat place, great service but someone has changed their closing time to 1am. We went in and they were lovely and did us a takeaway instead. Top guys buy they close at 11pmβ
βAbsolutely world-class carvery! We live in the North-West, and my in-laws live in the East Midlands, so I was looking for somewhere in-between we could meet up. Fortune smiled on us that day as I picked the New Broom at random, and we've been going back a couple of times a year for the last 5 years. Simply, the best Carvery I have ever had!β
βReally lovely! The pub looks great, super pleasant staff and the Indian food was beautiful. We couldnβt believe 3 drinks and 3 curries with a side of rice each came to only Β£35! Bargain!! Canβt wait to come back.β
βVisited here with family between Christmas and New Year as we were staying nearby and needed a dog friendly place to eat. We were more than impressed :)) The atmosphere was lovely with log burners in the front part of the pub- making it feel cosy and festive. The young girl behind the bar was lovely and friendly- as well as some of the local punters who were in there- they made the effort to chat with us and play with our little dog. The food was tasty and fresh and were generous portions. Would definitely recommend visiting here if youβre nearby. We would 100% go back!β
