“We have just arrived home from my son’s birthday party at Lazer Quest, I can’t thank the team enough, we have had an awesome afternoon, the team were super helpful and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, all of the children and adults for that matter had the best time. If you want a stress free, laid back but fun party where you aren’t pushed out as soon as your time is over with great party hosts this is the place for you. “The staff at Shrewsbury are a real credit to an excellent fun place. They are so helpful and look as if they genuinely enjoy being with the children. There are plenty of staff spaced around, in case your child needs help or you need any advice. Definitely 5 stars to this place. The toilets are okay which is to be expected with children but the overall cleanliness is great.”

“Popped in for a traditional pint of ale while over from Australia visiting my father in hospital. The old style interior added a rustic charm, typical of what you hope to find in an English pub. Didn't eat while I was there but the menu on the table looked like a good selection of pub classics at reasonable prices. Next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going back to the Windmill.”

Rooms clean and good value as they are spacious - plenty of room in the family suite with a separate bunk bed room and an outdoor area with table, plus a bath and separate shower. Handy to have the extras ls like a communal guest fridge, and I believe you can borrow the bbq. Lovely grounds. Relaxed environment where you feel welcome. One if our party is vegan and one vegetarian, we notified ahead and also enjoyed a tasty breakfast, thanks chained oak for the effort :-)”
