“Start from the location just next to train station and in the heart of this beautiful town. The second thing which make this place highlighted is amazing selection of craft beers from IPA to stout & sour. Third is awesome atmosphere which I really like. Good vibes and friendly approachable people in the bar. Specially I like the wall full of colour beer pump clips. Service was good and the prices were very pocket friendly. Hope after all these points I recommend it. Worth to visit”

The canal side location makes it a beautiful place to sit and watch the narrow boats and ducks etc. All of the staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help with all of our dietary requests. The food was incredible! Extremely reasonably priced and the quality was incredible too. “Nice comfortable pub with a large selection of Titanic Brewery ales (brewed down the road in Stoke), plus a couple of guest ales. Had the Totally Leek Burger which was just £7.95 for a very tasty burger garnished with cheese, bacon and salad, along with fries and onion rings - all sourced as locally as possible. A modest portion but really good quality and perfect for lunch.”

“Booked the Unicorn Suite for my husbands 60th birthday party.Couldnt be more pleased, Excellent bar staff, Great DJ and a fantastic Buffet.The room and outdoor space is lovely.Eveyone who attended the party commented on how good the party was. “We came in as we were stopping at the premier inn next door for an event. We thought we'd go here for the evening and were extremely surprised by the food and service. Every meal we had (steak, pork belly, pie, hallumi fries, desserts) were incredible. We had a very friendly waitress who I believe was called Emma. The experience was brilliant and couldn't recommened enough.”

“Went here for a family reunion, the pub was great something for everyone, play area with bouncy castle for young ones, pool table for teenagers. Great outside seating really deceiving from the front. Would definitely go again, maybe in a smaller group lol. We ate in stages which wasn't great but rhere were 18 of us so understand. Parking is along rhe Road or just opposite.”

“Currently not serving hot food but the baps are deliciously fresh with plenty of varieties to choose from. The new owners certainly know how to put on a good night! It's been busy with no drama everytime I've been! Loads of offers on drinks that are reasonably priced. Overall, a very well ran pub!”

“7th March 2025. We ended up here. The bar man was very friendly and extremely helpful, as we were looking for a place to eat. He recommended several places. Atmosphere was lively, busy pub, drinks reasonable price. We had a few in here, whilst we waited for the restaurant to open across the way. Would visit again.”

“Can not fault the food from here at all. Generous portions , and cooked to perfection... specifically the doner and chicken kebabs. We have our doner meat chucked on the grillnl to crisp it up , which they don't mind doing for us. And the chicken is perfect, unlike the usual dried up/over cooked rocks we usually get from other places. Definitely our new go to takeaway!!!!”

“Work in Stone a couple of days per week so have been coming in for my lunch. Lunchtime offers are great. Soft drink and a meal for just under 8 quid! Drink served within a couple of minutes to the table and the food is always quick as well! Longest I’ve waited is about 5 minutes for my food. Great service”

“Great food and great atmosphere. Went midday and had the southern fried chicken burger with chips and other had the all day breakfast. Average prices and quality food. Whilst finishing our meal they held a bingo event, good add on. Great Meal.”
