“I've called in a handful of times to buy refreshments since Work of Art opened and each time had the most lovely customer service. Personable and friendly. What was particularly special is I called in on my way to a trip a couple of months ago needing milk to mix with a protein shake kind of thing. They helped me open the sachet and asked which milk I'd prefer and let me free pour it in. I had no judgement from them for my (let's face it) strange request. I said that I would accept whatever they felt was fair to charge me, be it a coffee amount of what have you. They responded in kind (and very kindly). I want to extend genuine thanks to this person. Keep doing what you're doing! I would say this is well worth a stop before a journey. The view is spectacular and the environment is clean and spacious.”

“Had an absolutely wonderful experience here today, the staff were so helpful and polite, I was with my 8 week old baby and they offered me shelter to feed my baby and made me feel very comfortable to breast feed which is rare these days. We will definitely be coming back here again, lovely atmosphere and staff.”

“I treated my husband to Sunday lunch today at The Twelve Knights. I have to say we were not disappointed. The Sunday lunch was excellent value for money (he had roast beef and I had spinach tart). The portion sizes are extremely generous. We both agreed that the mashed potato was the best we have eaten in years. We will definitely be back.”

“My friend told me about some of the poor reviews that this restaurant has gotten.. I've only ever had amazing experiences here. The food has always come out hot, everything is fresh and homemade and the staff have always been incredibly friendly and polite. Truthfully, this place is probably one of, if not the nicest Italian restaurant to eat at in Port Talbot. I also think that some people have misunderstood that many of the pasta dishes are sharing sizes, it's far from expensive to eat here.. especially for the quality and portions of food you receive, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the customer service that you get. They don't compromise on quality - I remember talking to one of the staff members that works here and said that she learnt how to make lasagne from her time in Italy. It's the nicest lasagne I've ever had and many of the people I've taken to this restaurant have said the same. Every amazing restaurant is going to have some poor reviews but, please don't let that deter you from trying this place❣️”

“My Dad's 81st Birthday. I let them know in advance that he has many health conditions including dementia. We were treated with total kindness, which we are very grateful for. Food was very tasty and served in good time. Staff were fab, even putting a candle in Dad's dessert and singing happy birthday.”
