βWe couldnβt have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Manor Park. From the very beginning Marie, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely brilliant. She communicated clearly and consistently, made everything calm and stress free and took charge on the big day so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. All the staff were incredibly helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble and their friendly professional approach made the day run smoothly. The venue itself was stunning, with beautiful grounds that made the perfect backdrop for our photos. The rooms were lovely and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their stay. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with plenty of choice for everyone. We would highly recommend Manor Park to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It was truly the perfect setting for our special day.β
βDiscovered this little gem quite by accident. Very high quality food and very neat and tidy. You can detect the pride in the place. I also loved the lighting. Not overpriced and plenty of extras gratuit.β
βWas here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. A great welcome when I arrived, very friendly staff. A good selection of options for breakfast including veggie options. I didn't notice if they had a vegan option so you may want to check with them before you go. No steps to enter the premises from the street so easy access. Food was reasonably priced, well presented and was delicious. I'll be back and I recommend it for breakfast. Thank you!β
βAbsolutely amazing Sunday dinner. First time but definitely not my last lol. Popped in at 2.30 as we are on an afternoon shift so grabbed two beef dinners had a lovely chat with two girls working there an absolute must. On days Sunday so see you againβ
βGreat place to sit in and have fish and chips. Great food. Thank you.β
βWe hadnβt eaten here for years, very pleasantly surprised by the very high standard in the cooking and presentation of the meals we had. We both had fish and it was first class. Service also was very attentive and not over powering. Well done all we will be back , thanks Martin & Alisonβ
βIt's Saturday ballet which can only mean one thing, exploring cafes. Today I thought I'd give the Bluebell cafe a try. I had a really warm welcome from the staff, the cafe has a really nice relaxed vibe, it wasn't too busy on arrival with a good few seats to choose from. The menu was really good with plenty of choice. I went for the Bluebell breakfast which has the unique twist of Greek potatoes added. I can honestly say that this was the best breakfast I've had for a while, everything was fresh and tasty, the latte was piping hot (as requested) and quite smooth. Throughout the staff were really friendly, you cannot fault the customer service. Bring on next Saturday because I will definitely be back!!β

βStayed here for just Β£65 and was genuinely impressed by the value for money. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent β tasty, well-prepared, and generous portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming across the board, from check-in to the restaurant. The shower had perfect pressure (a rare find!) and the hotel is ideally located with easy access to some stunning beaches. Would absolutely stay again β a great find!β
βReally excellent food, thoroughly enjoyed it. Bring your own wine or beer.β
βEven though I've lived in Bridgend for 32 years, I don't venture into the town that often. This was my first time visiting CL and wasn't disappointed by the food or service. It was a Saturday late morning and it was obvious that the place is very popular.β
βWe have used Oriental Garden for years! Simply put...the best Chinese takeaway in Carmarthenshire! The food is consistently excellent, great value for money and the staff are fantastic! They always accommodate to my dietary preferences! 5 ββ

βLovely lunch today at the Dillwyn. Took my mother for the first time and she was very impressed. Fast and friendly service, clean surroundings, food came in a timely manner was homemade good quality and tasty. Big portions!! 6 hours later and I am still full! My son loved his dessert. The salad bar was a big plus for myself as I love fresh salad! Really nice selection. Thank you for a lovely timeβ
βWe had a weekend with family in the Mumbles and decided to visit the Vic for a couple off beers to throw some darts and watch the final day of the premier league. All was great until the final whistle when some old 70* 7 day 1 pint drinker decided it was ok to abuse my family and Son. Whilst I understand locals may not like tourists frequenting their bars I would argue that if it wasnβt for the tourist then many of their bars and restaurants would be shut. While we may have been a little loud/ excited at the results we were very respectful restful and put some money behind the bar. A nice holiday tarnished by an old fossil who has nothing better to do than aggravate touristsβ¦.β
βNow known as 'Bar 141' Booked here on the off chance just for convenience NYE 2024. Looked reviews which looked good. We were not dissapointed! On arrival, we were taken to our table and drinks were ordered. Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. Highly recommend.β

βThe shop was very quiet, as usual the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a shame Wilko's is closing. It is a shop that is well used in Maesteg.β
βGreat service, very happy with everything, thank you everybody, really pleasedβ
βWe had a lovely welcome by Kyle at the MFC Sofa Store. They have a lovely selection of furniture and we soon found the one we wanted, in the colour we wanted and in the size we wanted. It was delivered yesterday and we are very pleased with it. Because our room is small we only needed one armchair and a sofa but it does look gorgeous in our little living room. Communication between us and MFC has also been great. Thank you MFC.β
