“Went here with some family when we were going out and we tried out this restaurant, the food here was fresh and tasteful and was great to eat, staff were kind and friendly, services was good when they helped us with our order and the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, will come back here when i have the chance.”

“We visited Harvester Llandarcy on the 29th of August 2025. It was fabulous especially thanks to Kayleigh that took care of us. My son has food allergies and Kayleigh went above and beyond making sure we were aware and happy with our choices. She even offered to bring salad directly from the kitchen for my son, so he wasn't as at risk. Thank you Kayleigh. The food was delicious. Harvester has become my son's new favourite place to eat, his chicken monster burger is his new favourite dish and I had the chicken skewer which was fantastic. Thank you Harvester Llandarcy for being a safe place for my son to eat and Kayleigh for taking such good care of us, you need to be rewarded!”

“Probably one of the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time, would highly recommend the lamb Naga. Lamb was lean and you could actually taste all the different spices going through the dish”

“A friend suggested the Market Tavern for a breakfast so I went with said friend to give it a go. What can I say but one of the best breakfasts I've had for a while. The service from the staff was excellent and the food came out pipping hot! 2 large breakfast, 2 latte and 2 OJ for around £30, you can't go wrong. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!”

“First time visit lived in the village for nearly a year and always said about going but walked passed on a dog walk and the smell was too tempting! Fish cooked to order, nothing was overly greasy and quick and lovely service! Curry sauce they do mild and spicy! Disappointed it took me so long to go in!! Best fish and chips around! “Excellent Sunday lunch, mixed meat, great variety of vegetables and lots of it, more than enough to go round. Stuffing and gravy were delicious too. Staff very welcoming and accommodating , nothing too much trouble and if you want more of anything you only have to ask and they will bring it to you straight away. Good selection of desserts which again were all delicious. Great atmosphere, it was busy but staff were always attentive. Thank You for a lovely meal”

“I'm addicted to the breakfast rolls , they are massive & full of bacon , egg, sausage , hash brown & mushrooms haven't tried the other food yet but I'm going to . Left the atmosphere stars empty because we have foid delivered & don't eat in the cafe itself .Delivery is really quick , so quick the last time my kettle had only just boiled for my cuppa to go with breakfast roll”

“Great service... warm greeting on entering, friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. The pizza was great, freshly made with a great balance of toppings. The onion rings were a bit disappointing as they seemed to be out of the freezer and deep fried, with a mushy onion filling... but there were plenty of them in the serving, and the dip accompaniment was tasty. It was only a small part of the overall meal, and everything else was 1st class. The cheesecake was very nice, and definitely recommended. We'll definitely be returning.”

“We had the most amazing night here. We had to find somewhere to book last minute to celebrate my sons graduation as the original place we had booked had to close due to a member of staff testing positive for covid. I called and explained the situation and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They managed to fit us in and in and I'm so glad they did. The food was absolutely incredible and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. I will be recommending this fantastic restaurant to everyone. Cannot wait to go back”

“Brilliant chip shop, I've come here on and off for years and not once have they disappointed. I'd recommend their fish and chips, but be warned they do not skimp on the portions; the fish alone is a mighty beast! The fish is crispy and cooked to order, and I have always appreciated how you can cut it up with a knife and not have it crumble apart. The chips are nicely cooked, with a crispy outside and soft inside. Not once in all the times that I have been here have standards strayed, what you get is of good quality and priced fairly.”

“Loved the full breakfast (without potatoes). Excellent value for money for £10.49 with a cuppa. Everything cooked perfectly, especially the eggs and fried bread. Right next to the station so perfect if you need a quick bite to eat before catching a train.”

“Asked if they could cater for a funeral I was told it would be better in the bar for mobility reasons I also ask for a tea and coffee urn as many people would be driving I cannot compliment them enough The bar would hold over a 100 people The buffet food was delicious and plenty of it And everyone who had a car was delighted with the tea and coffee urn I cannot thank JKs team enough as they were all very professional”

“Booked last minute lunch for four adults and two children ( 12 and 9) . Thoroughly enjoyed, we all had different meals and drinks. The food was plentiful, hot and tasty. “Found this gem while searching. Fantastic pub roast and a nice find. Was board of sane old comercial chain roasts and wanted a good old pub one. And could not fault it. Just to much veg. Kids menu also good. 8 yr old had kids roast. 4 year old chose good old chicken coujons me expecting a few frozen no problem he loves them mash and gravy. Well how wrong 3 home made goujons and way to big for him he managed 1 of them and we had to try eat other 2.”
