“Great breakfast! Bacon was absolutely stunning! Eggs were runny and only £5,30 for a full brekky! What a treat!!!!”
“Looks can be deceiving. £4 for a massive breakfast roll and free coffee or tea. Tastes delicious. Definitely a great breakfast spot.”
“Stunning food. Lovely people who own it. Brilliant prices. Even do stunning Sunday dinner takeaways to order!!!!”
“Absolutely love this place. Been waiting to try it for ages as it’s often fully booked. Food was top notch and service very helpful. Will definitely go again to try some of the other items on the menu. I can recommend the Brian Griffin Burger and the Hey You Guys Fries. Not to mention the Millionaire Shortbread milkshake. Other half had a pint of Electric Boogaloo IPA which helped cut through the food. Ordering at the table with QR code was relatively simple and good if you are a regular. Not having been before meant we needed some assistance with our options, but that was quickly forthcoming. Food came out like lightning too and hardly any wait although we were the first ones in that evening. Also the food was hot, not lukewarm which I really liked. Careful if you are on a low sodium diet though. Maybe worth bringing this up with the chef before ordering. Outstanding Food and good music. Can’t wait for them to open in Swansea.”
“The menu is packed with vegan and gluten-free options, each dish bursting with creativity and flavour, all at a very reasonable price. From the moment we stepped in, the service was exceptional—warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. The atmosphere was buzzing yet relaxed, and their dog-friendly policy made us feel even more welcome. The beer garden by the river is the perfect place to unwind and take it all in. We were lucky to visit during the final week of their current menu. For starters, we had the vegan fishcake served with garlic mayo and tomato salsa—unbelievably realistic and delicious—alongside perfectly seasoned meatless meatballs on toasted focaccia. Our mains - The stuffed butternut squash came with creamy lentils and new potatoes, while the plant-based Tuscan chicken was a showstopper. The sauce was so divine we couldn’t resist ordering extra bread just to savour every last drop. To finish, we enjoyed a vegan crème brûlée that was both impressive and indulgent—a flawless end to an incredible meal. We left full, happy, and already planning our return to explore their new menu. If you're looking for phenomenal plant-based food in a welcoming setting, The Brit is absolutely worth the visit. Bonus points for the wagging tails they welcome too!”

Great omelettes, anything with chips, crazy pies, delightful fry ups, it's like being cooked for by your mother.”

“The food’s always fresh and tasty, portions are generous, and it’s really good value for money. Staff are friendly and welcoming too, just a genuinely nice spot to grab a bite.”
“You may have to wait for them to cook you're chips, but are they worth waiting for. You better believe they are, they are hands down the best chips for miles around. Couple them with the curry sauce they sell and you have a meal right there. There's the usual fish, pies and sausage's plus more but that curry sauce I could drink it. Oh and did I mention they are a Chinese takeaway as well, and my that's special as well.”
“Food is too good compare to any others in Port Talbot market street. I tried, chicken biryani, mutton biryani, vegetable rice, fry etc. I will certainly recommend Elaichi restaurant to all who early looking for authentic Indian food though it's a Bangladeshi one.”

“Full if cold so needed some comfort food and did I get it ? He'll yeah hubby and I had the large breakfast roll and it was stunning I have to say. One thing that usually let one doen is cheap rubbish sausages but these were great we really enjoyed.”
“Can't rate the food as we didn't order, but we arrived only a few hours to finding this gem! The people both staff and customers were so welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend before this place. It's a case of use it or lose it!!! Dog friendly too!!!”
“Stopped by at Margam Fish bar for a quick fish and chips, battered sausage included. I have to say, its one of the best fish pieces I have had in a long while, really nice flakes throughout the fish. Chips were classic chip shop chips and plenty of crispy crunchy bits. It was one of their busiest nights, the food here was fantastic at such a bargain price. I would highly recommend it.”
“What an amazing restaurant!! Went for my birthday and had an amazing time, food is incredible! I don’t even know where to start, portions are so generous, well worth your money and delicious!
