“I love this place! One of two venues in Wrexham I can comfortably call nice, classy or desirable. Great atmosphere, good food and the cocktails are spectacular. Rarely get into anything much more than the long island iced tea but have samples a good cross section over the years. The atmosphere is cosy early on, with comfortable, stylish furnishings and low-ish lighting, suited to quiet drinks with conversation, dates etc. Later into the evening on weekends at least they have some great local talent in doing acoustic covers and original music with plenty of audience participation encouraged but not in a lazy way. Food is a pleasant mix of Mediterranean through traditional and well executed. I've been there as a casual visitor for drinks and/or food and also on work outings, group catered and been equally pleased each time.”

“We had our first Christmas party with our new boss's & we had a lovely time waitress called Beth & she had a challenge setting our table. She was on the ball very helpful always polite full of smiles. Hats off to her we were very loud we hope she has a great time working as a waitress it's not the easiest job in the world & I'm sure there are going to be tables that are not as nice as ours. I wish her the best.”

“A great little pub in Marchmont with regular tradition music sessions by musicians who really know what they’re doing. Slow in the afternoon but picks up around 4:30. Nice German beers on tap.”

“What can I say, I love a good steak and you can definitely find one here! Perfectly cooked, full of flavour fillet steak. If you’re a carnivore like me then I’m sure you will enjoy every bite. “Outstanding service from a super warm reception to paying the bill. Everything was flawless. Party if 4, 3 had the amazing Sunday roast and 1 had the Chicken salad. The Hawkstone cider and lager was superb, just what you need on a hot day! Highly recommended.”

“Had a Roast Dinner Carvery Midweek and it was delicious. Staff are nice and pleasant and the price is reasonable. There is a carpark across the road that you have to pay but it’s in a good location if you don’t want to walk far.”

I have a allergy to Olives which is uncommon but we had lovely service and were made sure that there is no cross contamination, we were told that the kitchen cleaned down and prepped fresh vegetables for our meal especially for me.
