“Visited the pub earlier this evening - what a great end to a busy week! We were truly impressed by the service throughout our visit - we were welcomed by all staff members, seated within seconds and our order was taken within a few minutes. Service was incredibly quick. The food was faultless - the best mixed grill in the Midlands! The butter chicken was just perfect - will definitely be ordering again. We also had sides - chips, naan and rotis - everything was spot on! If only we had room for more, we would have ordered a sweet treat :) the quality cannot be matched. A lovely family run pub/ restaurant - I’d definitely put it at the top of my list for recommendations. Whether it’s a family meal, quick munch or a date night for two, you’ll not be disappointed! Worth every single penny - thank you for a great evening!”

“Lovely place to stay very comfortable staff are very accommodating the food is amazing in the restaurant great location very central to every where we were over for the bike show at the NEC but I also have family in Daventry so was the perfect place to stay for us . I would highly recommend. The assistant manager is an amazing lady nothing is too much trouble for her Thankyou and hopefully see you again next year”

“My new favourite space! This is one of the last remaining proper pubs in Derby - it is quirky, has something for everyone, a great selection of drinks and friendly staff and customers. I can't rate this place highly enough for how relaxing it is, both inside and outside in the Urban Garden. Love love love it!”

“Had a fantastic experience at Hen and Chicken Bar & Grill! The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot, with great portion sizes and plenty of flavour, it was THE BEST mix grill I ever had! “Went here with my son for a carvery and I must say it was very flavoursome and I enjoyed it,the food was plentiful for the price.I couldn't eat all mine so I asked for a container to take it home and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.So if you want a nice carvery please do pop down and see them.”

“Been in a few times recently and always found the staff to be pleasant, the beer to be good and fairly priced (better on happy hour obviously) I can't comment on the food personally as I have not eaten, but have seen a few dishes go out and they look good. Atmosphere only 4 stars because it was rather quiet when I went in but imagine it would be great if there were a few more people in. (I tend to go out during the quieter part of the day anyway)”

“Lovely cafe, I'd definitely recommend a visit. Bright and airy inside with huge windows letting in lots of light and loads of outdoor seating too. The team were all friendly and attentive, expertly handling difficult match-day customers with good humour. The food was delicious with good sized portions that made it great value for money so I'll be back for more twice-cooked chips soon.”

“Lovely welcoming and gorgeous food for our second time here. Small portions but delicious. I had steak and ale pie which came with mash but I wished I’d substituted the mash for beef tallow chips but I didn’t see them at the time of ordering. My partner had sea bass and fries (which were extra). You’d expect them to be included. The staff were accommodating with a birthday cake we took that with us that apparently we should have agreed with them beforehand but we didn’t know. We decided to go to the IVY the next day but wished we’d gone back to Brumus. The food was bland and generally awful. We were a party of 4 and we al enjoyer food.”

“Conveniently located just opposite from Chingford Train Station (Weaver Line) & the Chingford Bus Depot, the Rusty Bike is a great local neighborhood spot to grab a drink (decent replete selection) & chow down on either fresh Japanese or Thai food meal offerings. Fresh hand rolled sushi (am addicted to their Salmon Avacado Tobiko roll) and there’s also a good Thai food menu! Decent selection for anyone to enjoy and priced reasonably. Staff is friendly, attentive and there are usually live sports on multiple screen display. If in the vicinity (very close to the lovely Epping Forest park), do check out the Rusty Bike! Decor is also fun and quirky. Disabled WC on point!”

The dish had a nice balance of flavors, with a hint of sweetness and savory notes that were enhanced by a squeeze of lime. The chicken pieces were tender and complemented the noodles well, along with fresh bean sprouts and crunchy vegetables, adding texture to each bite. While the Pad Thai was enjoyable, it could benefit from a bit more spice or tang to elevate the flavors further. Overall, Rusty Bike offers a good Pad Thai and a pleasant dining experience, making it worth a visit if you're in the area.”
