“Food is delicious with good sized portions. My friend and I have visited it a few times. The 1st time we went we ordered starters, we were so full up that we didn't have room for the main. We now order mixed starters and then go to deserts. Great value, staff are nice especially the young lad, sorry forget his name. Recommend”

From the planning stages to the actual event, Fran was extremely helpful and flexible when some of our arrangements had to be changed.There were a large number of us and we were all very impressed with friendly, welcoming approach, great food and the excellent service. “We were staying at The Harbour Hotel as an anniversary treat and so we decided to have a meal here. There was a great atmosphere on arrival, with the experience from start to finish being amazing. I couldn't fault the service at all and the food was absolutely amazing. Our server Finn was also great. I certainly would highly recommended The Long Bar & Grill.”

“While visiting London for the first time we were walking looking for a place to have supper. My wife had the Vegetable soup and side of fries and I had the Tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce, with a local cider. We both enjoyed our meals, in particular the fresh cut fries.”

“Visited the bar a couple of times as family were staying at the hotel, the staff working the bar are a credit to the hotel they were attentive, provided quality service whilst not being intrusive. They have lovely seating, it's refreshing to pop into on a hot summer's day (air-conditioned) and they serve a wide variety of drinks from chartreuse to a humble pint. We didn't have food but others were eating in the bar and the food looked really nice.”

“Went today 1/10/25 for carvery lunch. Not been the Plough for a couple of years. The bar staff friendly. The carvery selection was excellent and nice and hot. Also I noticed the server of carvery was checking the meats with a thermometer and writing it down. The waitress Emma was very friendly. We will recommend the Plough and most certainly be returning again.”

“Great experience! Visiting Bedford with my 14yo daughter, she steps in and likes what she sees, asks the very nice lady behind the bar about vegeterian options, but we are short of time. Next day we ride into town, go straight into Bar Citrus and have some great time over an english veggie breakfast :) Service is fast and pleasant with a side of smile, all clean and comfy, lovely food to top it all - Definitely can recommend to anyone looking for a quiet eat or a pint with a friend!”

“Always a good experience here with the food. Staff were polite and attentive and the atmosphere is just perfect. We always end up at the All Bar One whenever we’re having a Breakfast/Brunch out. The food is great and what attracted us the most was the vegetarian and healthy juices. Today we had the shared meze board and root juice....absolutely yummy!”

“Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”
