βExpensive place but everything is top qualityβ
β70th birthday treat from my grandson Nathan. Food was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Put icing on the cake meeting a Wolves legend Steve Bull. Shame the result wasn't what we wanted, a defeat to Bournmouth.β

βCalif Bar is good. They have some quite delicious meals as shown on the menu uploaded. Had their Jollof rice and beef then their poundo yam and egusi soup and they both tasted really nice. The food quantity and quality are also quite alright.β
βNice little pub right on the canal too , beer was very nice tooβ
βService was relatively quick and it was a decent atmosphere. With good 3 course food.. Credit to bartender/ waitress for rushing around to provide excellent service. She is credit to your restaurant and bar!β
βGreat place. Friendly door and bar staff. Nice beers and spirits. Maybe a bit young clientele for me in my 50s but my 19 year old son enjoyed it.β
βThis place is a hidden gem, beautiful authentic pizza one of the best Iβve had in the uk. Their carnivoro pizza is fabulous, I also wish their menu had a couple more options on it to choose from. Will definitely be ordering again.β
βAfter relocating to Wolves I was after a new local and came across Keg. Years have gone by and we pop in most weeks, as it offers everything youβd want and more. Everyone is welcome, old and new faces, and pups are allowed in. Lou & John behind the bar are really welcoming! There are loads of beers on, with regular changes, plenty of ciders - fruit, perry and plain, cocktails, fruit wines, bottled lagers for those who dont want the beer on tap. Non alcoholic choices. Lou will even make a cup of tea for my Mum. We bring our friends and family in and there is something for everyone. Then there are loads of snacks, crisps, pork scratchings, cheddars, sometimes grey peas and bacon, cheese rolls, nachos, the list goes on. The prices are reasonable, and when you compare to other places we could go, its cheap. My partner has also had beers elsewhere then retried them in keg where they taste better, because of how they are looked after and stored, so youβre also paying for quality. We hope to see you in Keg soon! Use it or lose it - that goes for all microbars in this current climate.β
βGreat atmosphere, my boyfriend and his dad love to go to see the Status Quo tribute band that often plays here. As well as the beer on tap are fab. Good value for money, friendly staff, nice seating arrangement and decor.β
βAmazing roast dinner. I had the lamb which I asked for pink and it was spot on. The vegetables especially the cauliflower cheese was excellent. The roast potatoes and parsnips were cooked lovely. The atmosphere is good. All in all a great place for Sunday lunch (or other meals).β

βMy sister and I enjoyed a lovely meal with you at the hundred house. The staff were professional and were really lovely despite it being so busy and they were so attentive. I have the salmon starter as a main and my sister Gill had the Christmas dinner and my sister had the cheesecake and I had Christmas pork with brandy sauce all completely lush! We canβt wait to come back again with our family and friends and will certainly be recommending you to everybody we see. Kind regardsβ

We had dinner when we first arrived and it was one of the best meals we have had, food was excellent, service was superb. The atmosphere and decor was fabulous. Such a lovely place to stay or to just have a meal out. Thankyou for a lovely stay!β

βSuperb meal served by Ronnie. We had the Sunday set menu: Calamari Chipotle chicken with chilli sauce 8oz ribeye steak 9oz rump steak Unfortunately didn't have lemon tart in stock so had the Raspberry Torte which was superb Sticky toffee. Pudding. Although it was only mentioned in conversation that we came here today as part of a birthday celebration. Ronnie went above and beyond to bring out a special birthday brownie treat. Highly appreciated. Loved the food and the atmosphere and the service was spot on.β
βAtmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. To be honest I have eaten in indian restaurants since 1986 and the himalayan curry madras is the best curry I have ever had. Beautiful.β
βThe Black Country Arms is a well established pub in Walsall. The pub is situated at the top of Walsall town, near the medieval church, unlike other pubs in Walsall there is actually parking outside which is a bonus. The inside of the pub is very spacious and has a unique layout. There is a wide selection of drinks at the pub to choose from so you will easily find something to enjoy. Getting served is a friendly and speedy encounter, if you wanted to engage in conversation the bar staff are more than happy to do so, they are a good bunch. If you havenβt visited before it is a must, good chance you will visit again.β
βWe attended for a family Christmas meal today. The food and drink were really tasty! But what made it so fantastic was all the staff were so friendly and helpful especially the lovely lady with short brown hair! Thank you!β

βA fantastic cosy and welcoming atmosphere with a great variety of beers, ales, ciders and spirits to choose from. Ample seating inside and out in the garden. Kids were welcome until 8pm. There was live music from a very talented local singer songwriter and both staff and customers were extremely friendly. Will definitely visit again soon!β
βA nice cosy pub in the heart of Wednesfield bringing you a great selection of real Ales largers and ciders. The vine also consists of a selection of spirits if the pints don't take your fancy. The staff where friendly and knowledgeable of there selection as to be exspected from a black country ales pub. Bar snacks are available in the form of cobs ,pork pies, black pudding and a selection of crisps and scratchings.β

βMy wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only Β£3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .β
βAn excellent restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the choices from the menu are amazing, they have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, so there is definitely something for everyone. We had the four courses and thought the food was perfect. There's lots of choice for drinks too, non-alcoholic, wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. The restaurant has a very friendly and warm atmosphere, so this is a great place for a date, meal with a friend or to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.β
βIs this the best pub in Wolvo for real ale drinkers. Think 9 pumps on one had gone. Luckilly these update Real Ale Finder, albeit may be 4 days out was glad to see what could be described as packed almost solid pre 10pm. First off Attic Brewing Midnight followed by a real gem Magpie Brewing Ten For Bliss awesome. Its a place i would be happy to go up town on my own and venture in. Staff seem great along with the clientel it attracts, whats not to like plus they dont take the p on prices. This will be a regular in future 5 mile away over the local GK pub 150 yards away.β
