“Proper real ale pub right by Wolverhampton station. Holdens 110th Anniversary weekend meant £3 pints and superb pork and stuffing baps too. Well worth planning a long connection if you're passing through!”

“We visited today for our Christmas get together and we’re so impressed with this place. Kelly served us from start to finish and she’s a breath of fresh air. An absolute credit to your team. Food was delicious and service on point. We will definitely be back thank you again Kelly and the chefs!”

“Lovely old boozer with some modern fittings. Good selection of real ales and ciders. Bar staff a little surly but very efficient. Rough and ready just like the Black Country. Didn’t eat on this visit but the cobs are great!”

“My friend had her baby shower here over the weekend. The owners are wonderful and warm people, you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. We had an afternoon tea, the quality of the handmade food is excellent, especially the cakes! Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon. Although it’s around 50 minutes from me I’ll definitely be back.”

“Went to a party at this club what a little hidden gem it is. Smaller club yes but perfect for the amount of people at the party. Bar staff friendly and smiley One of the best pints of Guinness I've ever drank (and ive had a fair few) £3.80 a pint an absolute bargain. Nice to see there are clubs out there not ripping customer off on prices”

“Friendly management and very outgoing staff. I personally chose a pint of their butty Bach. I found that this was a tasty pint with a very clear pour and tasted fresh stating that the barrels are changed regularly, and the pipelines cleaned thoroughly (and rinsed as no soapy taste) Overall does not pretend to be anything other than "a proper old boozer"”

“Lovely little restaurant just out of the heart of the City so it's centrally located but not in a busy area. Lovely ambience, cosy, comfortable. Good staff, friendly, helpful, great service. Small but varied menu has something for everyone. The simple 2 course or 3 course menu option is excellent value for money. The food is excellent - portion sizes are just right to be able to enjoy all the courses and some nice touches like an accompanying sherry are well thought out. After 5 years in the Lichfield/Tamworth area it's the best restaurant we've found.”

“I would like to thank your very attentive staff for their friendliness and consideration when my friend and I came to see Downton Abbey. My friend uses a walker and needs assistance so I called in on Saturday to ask some questions and book our tickets. The lady who helped me and answered my questions was really lovely. When we came in Monday the young man checking tickets very kindly showed us to the screen and helped us parking the walker. He was very helpful and approachable. My friend doesn't go to the cinema often because of limited mobility but she will certainly go again now particularly as the seating was extremely comfortable too.”

“Had a great meal at the GB last night at their monthly quiz night. The faggots were the best I have had anywhere and my wife said her crispy chilli beef was lovely. Nice staff as well. Would recommend”
