“We have had many brilliant visits to the Aloft. All staff pay close attention to detail and customer service is spot on. Will be back for sure. Special mention for Katie who met us upon arrival.”
“Visited Aberdeen for a family wedding, the Charlotte apartments were perfect for all our families to stay together without sharing spaces and not to mention the affordable price. Rooms were all clean, kitchen had everything we needed and the location was ideal as it was close to the airport. Would recommend staying at if youre there for 2/3 days+. I hope to visit again soon”
“We recently stayed at the Hilton Teca during a trip to Aberdeen to visit family. A few days prior to arriving, I received an email letting me know that we had received a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. On arrival, we were given such a warm welcome from the reception team members Victoria and Maria. We were told that our upgrade also included access to the exec lounge, although we were not able to use this during this trip. Our room (416) was large and clean and the giant bed was super comfortable, the view did look out on to a main road, but it was incredibly quiet, so you wouldn't even know. Each night of our stay we'd head to the bar for a night cap, all the restaurant/bar staff we met were super friendly and helpful, particularly Shane and Eilidh who took great care of us over the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was well stocked and varied, although more vegan options would always be appreciated. The gym and spa were clean and a great space to relax. We will definitely stayed here again.”
“l always stay at the Malmaison when I am in Aberdeen, and the experience is always very pleasant. The hotel has great rooms which are nicely decorated. Nice bathrooms too. Their breakfast is good. The location is another positive and the staff are wonderful. Great value for money.”
“Booked a night for my mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary and my mums 60th birthday and they had the most wonderful experience. From start to end they had a 5 star experience, the service, food, room, everything, was first class. I cannot thank you enough for providing them with such an exceptional experience.”
“1st Class experience. The dinner was outstanding, the staff were truly amazing, and the food was exceptional. Expensive, yes - but absolutely worth it for the ‘WOW’ factor.”
“Excellent choice for our Sunday lunch for four. Friendly welcome and well presented, tasty lunches. Especially enjoyed the Skirlie Chicken. Perhaps some training opportunities for one of the waiting staff, who delivered a three quarter filled pint of beer and also could have avoided delivering over other people’s plates. Beer was topped up and good choice of Wainwrights’s and Hobgoblin. Mains were worth the wait but 35 minutes seemed too long. All in all an excellent lunch. And sent off with a piece of Mrs Tilly’s tablet. We’ll be back.”
“Great for a short stay in Aberdeen! Lovely comfortable and spacious rooms. Bar area with outdoor seating to the front of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, cooked options as well as cereal, pastries, etc. Large car park round the back of the hotel.”
“While we didn’t stay here my group of 12 had a very nice dinner here. The restaurant is clean and vibrant. The food and drinks were exceptional as well.”
“A true 5 out of 5 experience. A gorgeous, extremely well equipped apartment (Platinum), everything we needed for our trip to Aberdeen. The "coffee cupboard" was a brilliant bonus. Really good location for a lovely walk by the river and close to Duthie park. Richard was brilliant, quick responses to my silly questions and extremely helpful information in good time for our trip. We had a lovely stay, just wish we had been able to stay longer but will stay again and highly recommended.”
“Great flat in West End of Aberdeen. Property was very clean and super comfortable and supplied with everything you'd need. The onsite parking was handy but local amenities and town centre were just minutes walk away. The owner, Colin, was friendly and answered queries immediately- great communication! Overall a five star experience and I'd have no hesitation in staying here again. Highly recommend.”
“Really lovely family stay at cottage 4, Jeremy is a lovely host with an in-depth knowledge of the lighthouse and surrounding area. Strongly recommend.”
“Everyday heroes shows that anyone can be a hero. The little things we do add up to become significant changes in the society.”
“Beautiful apartment in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. Secured on site parking in the basement.”
“Ideal place for exploring the city”
“Very attentive staff with super friendly service to our table of 12. Great food, Very well priced and amazing communication on the run up to our evening. Would recommend and will definitely be back.”
“My wife and I got married here in 2024, we came back to celebrate our anniversary and the staff were absolutely amazing. They gave us our wedding room which made the whole stay so much more special.”
“From the moment I walked through the door, I couldn’t fault a single thing. And trust me, I am a self-confessed hotel snob—the kind who judges places by the fluffiness of their lobby cushions. But this hotel ticked every box… and at a price so good I briefly wondered if they’d mixed up my booking with someone far less demanding. The two young women on reception were fantastic—friendly, smiley, and so well presented I considered standing up straighter just talking to them. They chatted like we were old pals, asked about my daughter’s university visit, and answered every question without even a hint of “please go away.” Truly a credit to the hotel. Walking from reception to our ground-floor room (147), the place just kept impressing me. Everything is immaculate, fresh, and spotless. The corridors are so well lit I half expected someone to hand me a script and tell me we were filming a toothpaste advert. Our room had two double beds with duvets so comfortable I’m convinced they’re filled with clouds stolen from a Pixar movie. The pillows were perfect, and the sheets were so brilliantly white that I lay down carefully to avoid disturbing their purity. Beautiful tartan blackout blinds on both windows added a classy touch. There was tea, coffee, a microwave, a fridge cleverly tucked in the wardrobe area, and two wing-back chairs that made me feel like I should be reading a classic novel—even though all I did was stare at the TV, which has every app and channel known to mankind. Now, the bathroom. As someone who enjoys a long shower (the type where you emerge looking like a raisin), this one was an absolute triumph. I stood under that rainfall shower for a solid 20 minutes, admiring the red brick feature wall—something I’ve never seen in a shower before, but now firmly believe should be mandatory everywhere. The shower gel also smells so good I’m thinking of wearing it as a fragrance. This morning I popped back to reception because the car park was full last night. Once again, the same young lady greeted me with a smile that suggested she actually remembered who I was—a rare and powerful skill in hospitality. She helped me get my van off the street before the traffic enforcement team could appear and ruin my day. She deserves a medal… or at least an extra biscuit in the staff room. I know it’s early to say this, but I’m fully expecting breakfast to be spectacular. At this point, the only way this hotel could disappoint me is if they suddenly run out of bacon. In fact, I’m secretly hoping my daughter chooses Aberdeen University (RGU), not just for her future—but so my wife and I have an excuse to come back here every month and live our best hotel life. Overall, this hotel doesn’t just earn 5 stars—it swipes them, polishes them, and presents them back with a smile. Well done Sandman Signature this hotel and your staff are above fantastic.”
“The room could be done with a bigger telly... however the staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you, especially Charlie and Ella, they made our stay feel very comfortable, a home away from home. Thanks to all the staff.”
“Excellent boutique rooms including fridge and cooking facilities.”
“Stayed here overnight prior to flying back to to the states. Staff went out of there way to make sure my wife and I had a great stay - from the dinner off room everything was perfect.”
“Lady at check in was super friendly, room was spotless and easy parking. For a airport hotel much better than most others ive stayed at.”
“Very clean apartment, had everything we needed, located near to town centre. Was a very nice surprise to find a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival (whole pineapple, oranges, apples and bananas), as well as fresh milk, continental breakfast, etc. Only thing I could put as a negative was the people staying opposite who had children who would be in and out all day/late evening, allowing their door to bang loudly shut. But, cannot blame the apartment for that. Free wi-fi as well. Very pleased with our stay and will definitely rebook in the future.”
“My daughter got married at Ardo on Saturday 8 November. From start to finish nothing could be faulted. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the grounds and rooms lovely and the meals delicious. Eilidh, the wedding coordinator, organised everything to perfection.”
“Not a 5 star hotel, but not pretending to be one either. Rooms clean and functional. Excellent parking. Breakfast freshly prepared and no complaints about the selection or quality. 3rd time we've stayed here and we'll be back.”
“The personnal makes you feel special they're lovely ♥️”
“Great bar and always busy, with a great atmosphere. Food is great here also. Staff were friendly. Definitely go and visit.”
“The location near the airport and P&J live is great. The rooms are quiet and with comfortable beds. However, the hotel looks a bit run down; it would probably require some renovations done. The staff is very polite, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommended.”
“Had a great experience staying here. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were really welcoming and helpful, which made the stay even better. The location is convenient for getting around Aberdeen, and the food and facilities were excellent. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the city.”
“Lovely large, modern and comfortable room in a great location. Exceptionally clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely our favourite hotel in Aberdeen, 100% recommend to anybody.”
