Didn’t realise till after they weren’t open till 5 so accommodated our lunch time request no questions asked. Highly recommend and love they are local east Belfast company which we love to support”

“We had a wonderful meal at Bank Street Brasserie last night. As vegetarians, it’s always a pleasure to find a menu that feels thoughtful rather than like an afterthought and this absolutely delivered. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive and genuinely friendly without being intrusive. We were so sad to hear they’re closing after Christmas, such a real loss. It makes us wish we’d eaten here more often. A truly special place that will be missed.”

“Love this restaurant. Eat here every year on our overnight stay before catching the ferry to Scotland the next morning . It's not often you peruse a menu and literally love everything on it but that's what you feel at Ginger Bistro. Service is just great, cocktails, food, obviously, and wines plus great ambience. “Probably the best prawns I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked in a lovely batter with a delicious satay sauce and a perfectly charred lettuce. Would go again just for this. Dessert was also spectacular. A warm chocolate muffin with chocolate sauce inside served alongside a coconut ice cream. Delicious. Atmosphere and waiting staff all on point. Didn't have to wait long for the food or the bill. Top marks.”

“Having received two coats ordered from the 2024 RHS Malvern show, my wife and her sister loved the design but were slightly disappointed with the stiffness of the fabric in comparison to a coat purchased previously. Revisiting the 2025 RHS show we discussed the above and Winnie, without obiligation, offered to replace the two costs made with an alternative fabric. We couldnt fault Winnies' commitment to ensure that we were satisfied customers.”

“Ordered the 3 egg omelette with bacon, tomato and cheese, food arrived well ahead of delivery time and was hot and tasty with everything cooked to perfection. The surprise addition of a small pot of salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and sweetcorn with peppers) was very welcome and appreciated. Highly recommend them and I will definitely be ordering again very soon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Had a delicious lunch at No.36 today. We had a short wait to get a table as it was so busy but it was worth the wait. The menu had lots of choice so much so that it was difficult to choose. We selected a Korean wrap and a chicken and sun dried tomato sourdough, both were amazing. Great food, great price and a lovely atmosphere, look forward to our return.”

I'm vegetarian, so I tried their vegetarian breakfast, which was genuinely satisfying. The ingredients were fresh, well-cooked, and nicely presented, A definite highlight was the poached eggs—soft, perfectly cooked, and consistent every time I’ve had them. It’s not easy to get poached eggs just right, but The Foundry nails it effortlessly. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, The Café is a great choice. I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for good food in a warm, inviting setting.
