“It certainly is a treat to visit The Starfish, made especially enticing by their fabulous specials. I love the food and absolutely love being in there, it’s so light and airy. Beautiful brunch spot!”
“Love this place for either a bite of lunch or a cuppa and something sweet. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is homely and the food is amazing and very reasonably priced and with Nook Living gift shop downstairs it's a lovely little spot in Carrickfergus”
“Nice friendly staff. The food was really nice in a quiet peaceful setting.”
“Been coming here weekly since it opened, consistently the best authentic Italian food and service in Ireland. Always high quality ingredients & the pizzas on a Sunday are proper Neapolitan style. Francesco, Gee & the team are so warm and welcoming. And our pup Skye is always treated like a VIP ❤️”
“The friendliest coffee shop in Belfast! Great coffee and the nicest staff. They open really early and stay open longer than other coffee shops. It is the kind of place you want to sit and enjoy when you have a free moment. Huge bonus is they are dog friendly! Definitely the friendliest coffee shop around.”
“Toasted artisan is a lovely cafe in every way. The food is all wonderful and home made. The ingredients used are top quality and all the staff are so nice. It is such a treat to have breakfast or lunch here, I especially love the mushroom soup. Well done everyone”
“The Seed and Bean coffee shop in Belfast is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm smiles of the staff. The ambiance is cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Their coffee is expertly crafted, and the range of treats on offer is simply delightful. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a cuppa, The Seed and Bean is definitely worth a visit!”
“I stopped by Ground Espresso on Queen St. in Belfast twice during my short trip as my hotel was close by. The coffee was excellent both times—but what really stood out was the service. The guy working there who served me on both occasions (I heard him mention it was only his 4th day on the job!) is an absolute asset to this café. He was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly managed multiple customers at once while making each interaction feel personal. It’s rare to see someone so genuine and attentive in a busy coffee shop, and it truly made this one of the best food and drink experiences I’ve had in Belfast. This is exactly the kind of service that brings people back. Great work, man—keep that attitude and energy going!”
“Lovely cafe, nice food. No public toilet but you can use the staffs one, if required”
“Had my sons 7th birthday here today and I have to say David and Logan who were taking us around were so welcoming and great with the kids. Always keeping them entertained and there was so much to do! From reptile handling to bouncy castle, barrel rides and feeding the animals. The kids most enjoyed the mini quads and the rodeo bull! The food provided as part of the party package went down and treat and was good portion sizes. Everyone said they had a ball! Thanks for having us!”
“Love the yoghurt tree for a family treat. Plenty of flavours to choose from and the children love picking their extras. Also does nice coffee.”
“Absolutely amazing establishment, second to none. We had potato bread stack, outstanding, food was hot, very tasty and well presented and arrived really quickly. Louise is the star of the show and makes it worthwhile coming to Kings Road. Ruth is an amazing barista and made a speciality coffee not on the menu. I can't fault anything about here, will definitely be back soon”
“Great place, very friendly customers, manager was great”
“Been in a few times when over with work. It’s very much a community bar but the inside retains an all wood interior making it visually very unique. Very reasonably priced drinks, friendly locals and the live music was great. Read my book a few times with the football also, haven’t tried the food but assured it’s very good.”
“Great wee bar, friendly staff, good atmosphere, and the best pint of Guinness you'll get in Belfast”
“Easily the best bar in town. Great service, fantastic food, friendly atmosphere and always enjoy our day's/nights out here”
“Great customer service, very friendly! The bacon (extra crispy) and cream cheese toasted bagel was delicious + the coffees were perfect for a walk along the beach.”
“Went for Sunday dinner with my father, the menu covered all bases, had the set 3 course menu, and was reasonably priced. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed immensely, will bring him again as he found it easy to manoeuvre his wheel chair and found the atmosphere relaxed.”
“Must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the the reception and treatment I received from the waitresses at this establishment, especially Jenna who was extremely helpful in helping us decide what selection to make. We settled for the club sandwich each. In truth one would have been sufficient. There was alot of filling and there was no way you could describe it as bland. Well recommended”
“Brilliant Sunday lunch at a fair price in good surroundings. Only small issue is possible more training for the staff. They could be a bit more helpful, I asked about the menu unable to answer. Asked for the bill and I ended up have to go and get it myself . But other than the staff a great meal and I would return in the future hopeful staff will have a little bit more training.”
“Just came in with my chihuahua puppy and the staff greeted us both and were so friendly, bubbly and just overall great craic. The coffee and food was delicious and we even got a few wee treats for the pup! Will be coming in again soon!”
“Originally from Belfast and now living in Australia, I was home for three weeks on holiday and used this shop every day. The coffee was awesome, and the staff were great, except for one guy who was small and had a tattoo and was very rude for no reason at all. I possibly ordered the wrong coffee one day, and he seemed to have it in for me ever since, he wouldn’t say hello or thanks anytime I went in, or even look at me. A girl came in behind me one day, and he changed his tune straight away. Little creep! The coffee and all the other staff were exceptional. The Staff will know me well”
“Friendly pub both staff and customers alike. Had some entertaining lunch times in here when working nearby. Always a character, always a story. As good a bar as you will get in Belfast. Sun out? Hideout beer garden! TV / jukebox available but best to just sit, relax, chat and enjoy the craic.”
“Great wee local pub.bartenders great Gary the owner is a good lad.”
“Small and well run by staff. A great cafe on edge of Ballyhackamore. Good coffee and a great selection of traybakes and light bites. 4 tables inside for 2-3 plus two long bench areas. Outside fixed picnic table type seating placed well back from road. Well worth the visit.”
“Stove offers a delightful dining experience with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant boasts a stunning interior, creating a great ambiance for enjoying our meal. The menu is fabulous, featuring delicious and high-quality dishes. The waiters were attentive and friendly waiters, providing excellent service, enhancing the overall dining experience.
