“Truly one of the best Chinese takeaways I've been to in the whole of the UK. Chicken sweet corn soup is fantastic, and Singapore Chowmein is delicious with a good amount of heat. Whether you have the vermicelli or egg noodles, you're in for a proper treat. If possible, order direct instead of through a delivery app to properly support the store. Friendly staff and incredibly polite, Golden Bowl has become my regular go-to Chinese treat.”

People complain that you can only order a couple of things at a time but this is perfect because everything is cooked fresh to order and saves things going cold. “First visited this restaurant about a year ago and have been a number of times since despite it being quite a distance from where we live. We visited again tonight and once again it was excellent. Booked table online, which is very handy. Waiting staff are very friendly and efficient. Drinks arrived quickly and glasses were sparkling clean. I had the Nasi Lemak which was really delicious served with coconut rice. My partner had beef curry which he said was one of the best he's had. Really worth a visit and we'll definitely be back soon.”

“Went for my partners birthday this evening, first time we have ever visited harmony palace and can I say I have never felt more comfortable then the amazing staff made us feel here! I had mentioned when ordering our food it was my partners birthday and the staff remembered this after they cleared our plates brought out a chocolate cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. They made us feel so welcomed with our 16 month old as well it was all round a brilliant experience and the food was obviously top tier- cannot wait to dine again with you guys!”
